thanks guys, I don't know how well its going to turn out for me now. I went up to check my camera today been about 4 days since I had been there. No gobblers on it just a couple hens and deer. I walked up on the dam and they started stripping like 200 yards above the pond. So that would mean about 300 to 400 yards from the turkeys. So my question is how bad will that hurt the turkey hunting there now? Will I still be able to call one in or would it not be worth it anymore?

Here are a few pictures from the past few weeks I've got off of my trail camera. I don't know much about turkey hunting to know if they are really that big or not they look like it to me. I put my camera on the side of our pond they just reseeded the dam like 3 weeks ago so I knew the turkeys would be there. They are roosting like 80 yrds behind my camera. Our season starts Monday coming so I know where I will be setting up before daylight.

Yeah it can happen with any of them just not the first time for me with the rage. I did hear a lot of bad things about them this year. -
Thanks everyone.

I'm pretty sure the first the third and the last pictures all made it through the season. The second picture was a 7 point I was looking for all of bow season and a guy down the road ended up killing him the first day of gun season. I'm pretty sure he was an older buck with the side of his body and the way he looked. The fourth buck I ended up shooting and couldn't find him in bow season :48:. That was a killer there I thought I got him looked like a great shot. I shot it with a rage 2 broadhead I won't be shooting those anymore I lost another deer a couple years ago with them. The shot looked like it was about 3 to 4 inches behind the shoulder and bout middle ways up his body so maybe I got the spot between the lungs and spine its really hard to tell. Thought everyone would like the pics.

I was just wondering what everyone else thought the age of these two were. The first 2 pics are of a buck that showed up after hunting season that I never saw and I was thinking he is probably 1.5 yrs old. The second buck is a buck I saw a few times this year and was letting him go I was thinking he is 2.5. So hopefully I will have something to look forward to in a couple years. I'm surprised that they both made it through the year most everyone shoots those size of deer here.

I could have went boneless to and still been a good season I know what you mean by that. I did let a lot of little bucks go this year. I saw probably 25 to 30 bucks while bowhunting this year.

They do here but it would be my word against his so that wouldn't go anywhere.

Yeah they sure are and the bad thing was there was nothing I could do to prove it cause he didn't have them all on him at once cause he lived around there.

Had one of the best days trout fishing I've ever had. Decided to take off friday evening cause we were supposed to get ice and freezing rain here. Got to the river at daylight saturday morning and looked like there were already trucks down in the valley where we were going cause of the fresh snow we got there and no one was there yet. My buddy and I got started and people started pulling in the first guy tells me your in a good spot I caught my limit there last night in about 20 mins. I'm not a person to keep my fish right off I like to catch alot of fish. So the guy comes back 15 mins later with his limit which is 6. We moved up the hole some and got into them again finally I couldn't take the frozen hands and feet anymore so we went and got something to eat and headed back down in there. Well we go into them again caught enough moved down to the bottom of the hole and caught a bunch more. We decided to go down river to try and catch some big ones left from the fall stocking. Caught some down river started fishing our way back up the river got to where we started and the guy from the morning was there with his limit again and then ended up going down stream and doing it again. It just makes me mad when people cant keep there 6 and be done if they aren't going to release them:hammer1:. Well we went back up to the top of the hole and finished our limits. we have clickers on our vests to keep track of how many we catch in a day mine was at 100 and my buddies was at 70. One of the best days of fishing I have ever had all except for the one guy who kept enough fish for everyone. sorry for the long post and complaining about ppl.

It was 23 3/4 in and 6 lbs I caught him on a trout magnet I never really use flies or spinners. I had the trout magnet in its mouth i knocked it out one day and just never put it back in.

Got him the first day on stand on my first vacation Oct 29. I had been hunting for about an hour and he came walking out not the biggest of buck in the woods where I was hunting but I was happy with him. I was ready to try out my new bow and broad heads I just couldn't resist the 16 yrd shot.

I got my brown trout back from the taxidermist in Oct. I'm really happy with the mount he used all the fins off of my fish and molded the head with clay.

This is the buck I shot the end of our gun season. Shot it on Dec. 2 sorry it took so long to post pic's i haven't been on the computer much lately. It ended up being a 6 point I thought it was an 8 point just figured with the tines length it would have had brow tines. I made a 300 yrd shot on it going up the fence line with 5 does I never saw him turn his head to face me. But at his age he should have had brow tines so its a good thing I did get him.

Great buck and a great way to end the season.
