Thats a nice bow congratulations on it and hope it shoots well for you.

Went on my first fishing trip of the year today. My buddy and I left at 6 this morning and it was 4 that's a little cold. We got to our first river to fish and it had ice floating and could see 6 rainbows laying in it with the water low and clear. We caught 4 of the 6 so thats not to bad for those conditions. Next river we got to has ice on it and we found a whole with about 60 or 70 trout laying in it so we tried and tried but couldn't get the fish to come out from under the ice to catch them managed 2 there at the end. Wasn't long after we got there I looked down river and saw a bald eagle flying our way he flew down to the water and picked up a fish. He went back and sat on a limb bout 50 yrds from us for 2 hrs just watching us. We finally left there about 1:30 and went to another river to fish for a few minutes before dark and on the way there saw another bald eagle on the first river we fished. Got to the hole its alot deeper than the other rivers we fished so we couldn't see the fish laying out there so we fished and I caught 3 more there. So after all it turned out to be a good day fishing we caught 9 between the two of us it was a lot of fun and got to see two bald eagles.

Thanks thats what I was planning on using the way that you said with that mixture.

what all are you using for them?

I thought about using dicalcium phosphate trace minerals and some sort of salt.

Do they help there antlers and keep them healthy though?

I was just wondering if anyone uses mineral sites and how much they really work? Ive been thinking about making a few of them on each farm I hunt and was just wondering what other people think of them.

I have never shot them my buddy shoots them and he said he wouldn't trade them for anything. He got a couple deer with them this year and he said the farthers one ran was like 50 to 60 yards. He shot one he said dropped in its tracks and he hit in it the lungs and front shoulder.

Well thats the rest I put on my bow I like it alot so far need to shoot it some more to really know.

50 yards away I would take the shot not the biggest gun to take a deer but at that distance it would do just fine. Saying that guess there would be another deer going to the shop.

Yeah I hope so will be fun to start shooting.

I ordered a bow last week just waiting for it to come in I got the bowtech destroyer 350.

I was wondering what everyone thought of the trophy ridge drop zone rest. I just bought one to put on my new bow and the guy at the bow shop tried to tell me it was junk. So I would like everyones in put on the rest thanks.

Thanks hopefully they look alot better next year I know all but one made it this year and hoping that one did to just not so sure of.

All of my hunting clothes are mossy oak I really like the looks of the infinity might get some new ones too.

Yeah thats true with all the expenses of everything added up together.

Just depends what part of wv your hunting. We have some really good places down south to hunt bow hunting only counties and they have some big ones there.

He may be a little wider than that but not much cause if hes outside his ears hes just barely. Yeah that was in velvet was taken the first part of sept.

No that wasn't the deer the neighbor hit and couldn't find. I missed that deer with my bow. I was leading him and squeezied the trigger on the release and the blade on my broadhead caught a tree :bummed:.

Here are some of the bucks I had on trail camera this year. The last pic of the 5 I hunted where I thought he was but never got to see him. I kind of thought he would score 130s hes a really nice deer for here in wv. The second pic I let him go cause he had a tine broke and he looks like hes 2.5 and would make a great buck in a year or two. But the bad thing is I think the neighbor shot him. He came to me and asked if they could have the rack on it if I found it cause his son shot a 10 point behind the shoulders and it ran off as he was getting ready to pick it up and never found it.

I was wondering what everyone else thought bout score on this deer. Its hard to tell from the angle he is at but hes bout 15 to 16 inches wide.
