I went fishing for the first time last Friday. I forgot my camera started down the road tried to find it and it wasn't there. It was a rough day fishing but I had a lot of fun I wasn't stuck in the house. I caught 6 and they were all rainbows only saw one other person fishing. I'm going to try and make it back out on Wednesday if the waters go back down or this coming weekend.

Well I guess he would be the turkey to get this spring then since he is the boss of the flock. He looks like he is a big turkey.

I hunted in Monroe Co. yesterday on public land. My friend and I saw 25 to 30 saw a few bucks that had already lost their antlers and one big buck that only had one said. My friend shot a smaller 10 point he would probably score around 110 inches. It was a great day to be out in the woods.

I had my trail camera out in December trying to get pictures of the big buck that was on the farm. Instead I had a bunch of turkey pictures. I was wondering why the turkeys would be strutting in the winter time like that. So if anyone knows would they please let me know. I thought everyone would enjoy the pictures too just like I did. I have always wanted pictures of a turkey strutting in the snow but didn't think it would come from December.

The smallest for a whitetail I would go would be a 243 its a good gun shoots flat. Also the 260 is a good gun. I have had one for about 6 yrs now and I really haven't hunted with it much but the deer I have shot with it dropped where they stood. Its a great caliber shoots good and is very accurate. I have had my niece shoot deer with it and my gf shoot deer with it and they have not shot guns before and it didn't bother them. Hope this helps you.

Just like cray8705 said every company has their low end bows. Really shouldn't matter what people want to shoot its how the bow fits them. If its a $200 bow and its fits them really well and they shoot good then it doesn't matter. Diamond has some bows that are around $700 thats not close to being a low end bow. So price shouldn't matter its how a bow fits a person.

I have shot the iceman and I personally don't like it. I shoot the black ice and I have never had a problem with it. I have also shot the rock and its really nice for the price you can't go wrong with it. All diamonds I have shot are very quiet and fast. I have never heard of the diamond bows being considered on the low end of the bows.

Well the deer are starting to chase a little bit not much here though. The deer I shot the other day was chasing a doe. Sitting in my treestand this evening I watched a little 5 or 6 point run does around the woods so give it a few days and it will be good.

He was probably 115 yrds from my treestand but total he ran about 250 to 300 yrds. He ran out the hill after I shot him and he came back the same way and across the right away and through a little patch of woods and died in the edge of the thicket. Half way or a little less is where we lost the blood from him.

Thats a monster would be a great one with a bow good luck at getting him.

Yeah we have to do some predator control on my farm here and the one I hunt in Ohio. We have been seeing alot of coyotes on the property out there. Last year I saw a couple bobcats here and a couple big coyotes. I guess one thing I found it hes not sticking up the area where he died.

That would be a great buck to shoot hes a big one.
