That sounds fun I have never really fished cranberry that much have been there twice. To many people there for my walked almost 2 miles in and still 10 to 15 people at a hole not my kind of fishing that far back in. I really don't know much about franklin so that will be something to learn. I have fished elk a lot one of my fav places to trout fish.

Caught those fish on Elk River. We got the cabin this coming weekend over by North Fork so we will be fishing North Fork, Smokehole, Franklin and maybe Shavers Fork.

It's a type of trout they have here that they stock. I am supposed to go to the mountains this week coming up for Friday, Saturday and Sunday so if I catch one I'll take a picture of it and post it so you can see it.

I went fishing yesterday that it was supposed to be warm and thought the snow would be melted down. Well the river was around a ft low and had probably 2 to 3 ft of snow around there. I fell over the hill trying to get to the river cause I couldn't see where I was going well when I finally got around to the river I caught 18 caught 15 rainbows 2 goldens and a brook trout. I got half way there and realized I forgot my camera I need to get one to leave in my truck so I always have one. We rented a cabin the 19, 20 and 21 of this month so I will have a camera for that one.

Theres a place on 250 going towards grafton on the right side of the road called aquatic research they should have them. Maybe we can meet up and go fishing sometime.

Thats cool that you fish around there. I'm from Fairmont and there is not much to fish around here. I fish on lower shavers fork, elk river, smokehole, north fork south branch and dry fork. Those are the main rivers I fish. Once in a while I'll fish at coopers rock if they stock that day just to make the people mad there.

I finally got the pole I have wanted for sometime. I got a 9 ft g-loomis steelhead rod. I have trout fished with a steelhead rod for about 4 or 5 yrs now. Its alot easier to fish jigs in the rivers around here with a bigger pole. I also got a new reel to go with it. I got a shimano stradic 2500. Now I'm itching to go try it out I can't wait for that. We got a bunch of rain the other day and with the snow melt off the rivers went up 10 to 12 ft so it will be a few days till I get to go fishing again.

We had rain to bust off the ice on the rivers the lakes and ponds here still have some ice. We went fishing this weekend glad we did got a big rain today and it has the rivers at flood stage of over so I won't be fishing for a while.

He is a nice one and he will make a big one next year.

If they all have marks on them they may be mad by the dnr to make the stocked fish. I have trout fished in a few states and they cut the little fin behind the dorsal fin to show that its stocked.
