RangerClay - I've got the Bushnell Compact 800 that has 8x Permafocus, it also has the Rain mode like the one johnf has and it works great. I was in South Dakota, coyote hunting last winter in a snow storm and the rain mode worked great in the snow storm.

I saw this on this evenings news, I know where she is coming from. My new grandson (1st grandchild) had to undergo major jaw surgery and be in an induced coma for 8 days while the jaw bones reset, all at 2 months old. Believe me prayers are on the way for this little one and mother.

Man, that looks great! Beats the heck out of the burger I had.

Not to mention those Arkansas hogs can be downright mean. I have seen them actually chase people and the big ones can really put a hurtin on you. Invite some friends over and go to town on them, then have yourself a big Bar B Cue.

I am right there with you, I was talking with my wife yesterday about the fact that there is no common courtesy and or sense in folks today. I had a young man come to the door the other afternoon selling some kind of books geared to schoolage children, told him that we no longer had young children at home. He proceeded to tell me what an idiot I was for not taking advantage of this great opportunity he was offering me. I picked up the phone and proceeded to call the police and inform them of an unwanted person soliciting in my neighborhood, while he was standing there. They came right out and escorted him away from our neighborhood, he was not very polite while all of this was going on ;-). I have lived too long and suffered these idiots too long. My wife says I over-reacted, I think I could have done worse. I had just finished a new Bowie and needed to test it's edge ;-).

Wow, glad you are no worse off. I know you guys have had your share up that way this year.
