Other than a full moon, I just go to one of the stands, during a full moon, I make what I call a late morning hunt, bout 8a.m. to 12p.m. I also use the late morning hunt for the peak of the rut here in Louisiana because it is so unpredictable when the full rut cycle is around here

I have a Toshiba Satellite, never had a problem with it, Vista is crap though.....looking at Windows 7 in the close future, letting it get a few months old, b4 I jump into it, to see if it has any issues

The Wii is fun, I got one for the kids last Christmas. One year later we have 4 remotes, 4 charging stations, 4 nun chucks, don't know how many games, ( 2 are mine, Cabela's Trophy Hunter, and Sega Bass Fishing)...everything made for Guitar Hero, Wii Fit game and balance board, and forgot what else....lol..........prolly could have bought another motorcycle.........but it was for the kids (including me)

Laptop all the way, have had quite a few desktops, got a laptop now, prolly won't ever have another desktop.

I agree 100% with everybody, but I like SmackDown's reply the best...... Man am I glad Louisiana gives us 3 buck, and 3 doe tags, and I hope I am never tested like that. I'd prolly pass the test, but don't want to be faced with the challenge.

Congrats!!! to ya both, I'm trying to get my 5 yr.old to harvest one with his 243. Seems like everytime I go, small busks and does all over the place, when I take him nothing shows up. That's my goal for this year. He's not quite ready for bow yet.

No Smackdown we don't get a lot of snow here, had a good snow last year( 1 day), and a chance of a flurry this weekend, but in my 40 years of breathing I can count on one hand when it snowed and stuck to the ground.

Just need some ideas from some of you guys/gals on which Scent Blocker camo to get. I have seen a bunch of different models on the net at Cabelas, Bass Pro, E-Bay, etc. I am leaning towards the Freak Nasty, but I lke the Bone Collector and a couple others also, THX for your help in advance.

120 hours on stand and 1 deer, 13 cameras and only 4 deer, sounds like the area you are in. Have they moved any earth or done anything to disturbed the area before the season opened, if not, sounds like your deer have done like mine and went in the ground.......lol

He wanted to go this particular day, but I didn't want to go to the condo ( only place I can take him ). I was a huntin' a scrape line and really didn't want to go to the condo, but I gave in, so he could go. At 5:00 p.m. a doe came out, with a nice buck behind her. I shot and killed him (gun) at 170 yrds. 10 point that scored 143 7/8ths. My biggest deer in my hunting career. Around here in Louisiana we don't have great big bucks, so it was a trophy in two ways to me. I am so glad he wanted to go hunting on this day. Pics are in my album.

YEP, It is a great call, one of the best I have ever used, but I won't retire the Primos Buck Roar either, currently using one and have an un-opened one for back up.

Kyle I'm gonna back you man, I was thinkin' bout get'n some too. But too much negative talk ,not enough positive. MUZZY been good to me for years, never ever trailed one 100 yrds. let alone 200. I did buy some of the BloodRunner's, haven't shot a deer yet with them though. Killed one this year, didn't have the BloodRunner's yet, MUZZY got it done again.....40 yrd. recovery.
