conversation overheard on the VHF Guard (emergency) frequency 121.5 MHz while flying from Europe to Dubai . It's too good not to pass along.. The conversation went like this... Iranian Air Defense Radar: 'Unknown aircraft you are in Iranian airspace. Identify yourself.' Aircraft: 'This is a United States aircraft. I am in Iraqi airspace.' Air Defense Radar: 'You are in Iranian airspace. If you do not depart our airspace we will launch interceptor aircraft!' Aircraft: 'This is a United States Marine Corps FA-18 fighter. Send 'em up, I'll wait!' Air Defense Radar: (no response .... total silence) God bless our troops.

You hunt turkey during the night?

Wow! Who are you? New here or what? I looked them up as well and the only thing I came across about the calls on google was two ads on ebay. One was for $9.99 and the other $25.00. I would never sell these and will always keep them on my wall. I am actually going to take one out hunting with me next weekend. I would love to call in a big ol' greenhead with it. And if I do, that bird will be on the wall no matter what. The other call has no markings at all. No where on the insert, barrel, outside, inside or the lips. I am thinking someone had to have made it for him, or maybe he made it and just doesn't remember. He's old as dirt, so the ol memory thing if passing him by. Can't wait for thursday when my 2 dozen new decoys show up along with the Strait meat Honker and Moneymaker i ordered from Foiles. The Geese will die soon!

Just starting on my collections. The three on the left were found in my grandfathers waterfowl bag. After talking with him, I figured out he has not touched that bag in 30 years. I am curious about the history of those calls. Anyhow, here are some pics.

Still around? Yep. Considering 24 of our 35 birds with greenwings. There are tons here now. Went scouting this evening and saw (assuming) 250 greenwings and around 500 mallards in two small ponds. An ultralight flew over jumping them and it was absolutely amazing watching them all get up at once. Simply an unreal sight I have never seen before.

To each his own. I am positive these guys go out and have one heck of a time building on relationships of friendship every single time they go out. When the population starts to hurt they will change the regs. Biologist and environmental experts seem to keep a very close eye on the population of waterfowl and change regs accordingly. They hunt their way, you hunt yours. They are also in the money making business trying to put food on the table for their familys doing the things that they love to do. If that means taking a lot of birds quickly on video and hootin and hollarin and show their excitment on camera to keep the interest of the viewer, so be it. You will now know not to buy their video again. I know I will continue to purchase the videos as they come out. I love watching them and being jealous of them on their awesome hunts.

I lied, only have 5 and 6 here at the new home. Pretty much the same format and hunt styles as the first 4 videos. They try and kill their limits as quick as they can to keep the pace of the DVD up. Who wants to sit there and watch a hour and them only kill one duck? Video editing also plays a huge roll in how fast they kill waterfowl.

No, not with you. What do you want to see on a hunting video? If you want to see what you do and how you hunt video yourself and watch that. Males play pretty much a huge role in the reproduction as ducks as well. Watching the video right now, will comment more once I am done with it.

Did you pull the tree down that is cutting across the three trees in the first pic? Or is this a totally different camera and location? The pics look similar but there are a ton of changes from the two. Kinda cool to catch environment changes on cam within days if you did not clear the area out.
