Not a smoker but deserves an honorable mention in cooking great food. Ya just can't forget this one. The set it and forget it Showtime Rotisserie as seen on TV. I've cooked about everything in this over the years and it's fantastic. Worth every penny and then some. Pictured is a rib roast. Everything comes out so moist and juicy. And it is true, just set it and forget it! No house should be without this little gem.

Here's a prime rib from start to finish that I cooked in my Traeger smoker. The taste was out of this world! MMMMMMMMM, this thread keeps makin me hungry!

Hope this helps you. Description and Identification Coyotes belong to the family Canidae (dog family) along with other dog-like mammals such as the red fox, gray fox and wolf. The coyote looks like a medium-sized dog, but its nose is more pointed and its tail is bushier than most dogs. A coyote holds its tail down between the hind legs when running. Their fur is typically gray to yellow-gray with guard hairs tipped in black. The fur often has a tinge of red behind the ears and around the face, but fur color varies among individuals. Coyotes are 23 to 26 inches high and three to four and a half feet long. They typically weigh 20 to 40 pounds but sometimes weigh up to 55 pounds. Because of their long fur, coyotes are often mistaken as being much larger than they actually are. Illinois coyotes are usually larger than those from the western United States. A coyote's eyes are a striking yellow with large dark pupils, instead of brown, like most dogs. Their eyeshine is greenish gold. The nocturnal yaps and howls of coyotes may be their most distinguishing characteristic.

Hunt a ground blind just like a tree stand. Only you don't need a tree to set up on a good trail. I always open the windows towards the area I expect the animals to come from and leave the others closed. This way the animals will have a very hard time seeing your silouette. I usually set the blind up about 20 yards from where I expect the animals to move, but that depends on what you're hunting and the type of weapon you're using. If you have any specific questions just post them here and I will answer them for you.

Very good point and thank you for mentioning it. While using these heaters you must take proper care not to start a fire while using them. And never ever use them in an enclosed tent, blind or other area. You must have ample fresh air flowing. While using a heater in my blind I always have at least 3 windows open for viewing the area and allowing fresh air to circulate inside of the blind. Please be careful.

Like I said, I love my comfort. I've even brought my dvd player with the headset and watched movies while waiting for deer. lol

Ray, check out Luckys link and they have a video on how it sets up. I can set up my blind in less than a minute, no kidding. Easiest blind I've ever set up. And they are quiet. And they are not heavy either. Really, check them out. You'll be glad you did.

Congrats. Very nice buck and nice shot placement too.

Or for whom ever took it. lol

It's easy, I've read your other posts. For example you wrote and I responded in another thread (and this was a no brainer for someone who knows the laws in Il.). Quote: Originally Posted by AceArcher Here in IL we only use shotguns in our firearms season for this very reason. I bullet going 100 yds vs. 1000 yds. This is a real tragedy for all people involved. Gun season includes handguns, not just shotguns. Not knowing the hunting laws and following them is one way accidents like this happen. As for the rest, there's a big difference between a hunter and a shooter. It is my educated opinion you are the later.

And as I'm telling you, you just don't get it!!! Why don't you join a liberal forum so you can all converse in your little dream land.
-
Spoken like a true liberal democrat!!! And once again you are wrong!!! Firearm sales from dealers at gun shows go through the same legal steps as gun stores. Knowing there are people like you with your liberal rhetoric out there cause me more sleepless nights than the gang bangers you alledge are buying high volume AK-47s!!!!!

If you're having problems with skunks or coons tearing up your yard you may have grubs that they're feeding on. Try using Grub-X before the grub season and that may cure that problem. Check with your local lawn care store for when to apply it. Hope this helps you.

Nice job. Now ya made me hungry!

Congrats on the first deer. What a grin he has, just like the cat that ate the canary. What caliber firearm did he use?
-
Hi Adjam5. Yes, the caliber must not be less than .30 cal. and barrel length not less than 4 inches. (No semi auto handguns). I use either my Ruger Super Redhawk in .44 mag. or .454 casull. The top pic is the .454 casull.

best day, best week!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
oneshot replied to sureshot's topic in Varmint & Predator Hunting
Thanks for the info. sureshot, I'll see if I can find any down here. In my line of work I can't use reloads for legal liability reasons if something were to ever happen. I have been using Hornady V Max, 40 and 55 grainers and have been happy with the accuracy but they do exit sometimes and I'd prefer that they didn't. Either way, ya gotta know where that round could go when it exits. Thanks again. -
I got this e mailed to me from a friend and thought I would share it. It amazes me how little press this got from an alleged non bias media. Check out the links below after reading this. Subject: American Troops find 550 Metric Tons of Uranium in Iraq Follow links at bottom to verify. On July 5, 2008, the Associated Press (AP) released a story titled: Secret U.S. mission hauls uranium from Iraq. The opening paragraph is as follows: The last major remnant of Saddam Hussein's nuclear program (a huge stockpile of concentrated natural uranium) reached a Canadian port Saturday to complete a secret U.S. operation that included a two-week airlift from Baghdad and a ship voyage crossing two oceans. See anything wrong with this picture? We have been hearing from the far left for more than five years how Bush lied. Somehow, that slogan loses its credibility now that 550 metric tons of Saddam's yellowcake, used for nuclear weapon enrichment, has been discovered and shipped to Canada for its new use as nuclear energy. It appears that American troops found the 550 metric tons of uraniuim in 2003 after invading Iraq. They had to sit on this information and the uranium itself for fear of terrorists attempting to steal it. It was guarded and kept safe by our military in a 23,000-acre site with large sand beams surrounding the site. This is vindication for the Bush administration, having been attacked mercilessly by the liberal media and the far-left pundits on the blogo-sphere. Now that it is proven that President Bush did not lie about Saddam's nuclear ambitions, one would think that the mainstream media would report the true story. Once the AP released the story, the mainstream media should have picked it up and broadcast it worldwide. That never happened, due in large part, I believe, to the fact that the mainstream media would have to admit they were wrong about Bush's war motives all along. Thankfully, the AP got it right when it said, "The removal of 550 metric tons of yellowcake, the seed material for higher-grade nuclear enrichment, was a significant step toward closing the books on Saddam's nuclear legacy." Closing the book on Saddam's nuclear legacy? Did Saddam have a nuclear legacy after all? I thought Bush lied? As it turns out, the people who lied were Joe Wilson and his wife. Valerie Plame engaged in a clear case of nepotism and convinced the CIA to send her husband on a fact finding mission in February 2002, seeking to determine if Saddam Hussein attempted to buy yellowcake from Niger. The CIA and British intelligence believed Saddam contacted Niger for that purpose but needed proof. During his trip to Niger, Wilson actually interviewed the former prime minister of Niger, Ibrahim Assane Mayaki. Mayaki told Wilson that in June of 1999, an Iraqi delegation expressed interest in "expanding commercial relations" for the purposes of purchasing yellowcake. Wilson chose to overlook Mahaki's remarks and reported to the CIA that there was no evidence of Hussein wanting to purchase yellow cake from Niger. However, with British intelligence insisting the claim was true, President Bush used that same claim in his State of the Union address in January of 2003. Outraged by Bush's insistence that the claim was true, Wilson wrote an op-ed in the New York Times in the summer of 2003 slamming Bush. Wilson did this in spite of the fact that Mayaki said Saddam did try to buy the yellowcake from Niger. The Senate Select Committee on Intelligence disagreed with Wilson and supported Mayaki's claim. This meant nothing to Wilson who was opposed to the Iraq war and thus had ulterior motives in covering up the prime minister's statements. It was a simple tactic, really. If the far-left and their friends in the media could prove Bush lied about Hussein wanting to purchase yellowcake from Niger, it would undermine President Bush's credibility and give them more cause for asking what other lies he may have told. Yet the real lie came from Wilson, who interpreted his own meaning from the prime minister's statements and concluded all by himself that the claim of Saddam attempting to purchase yellowcake was "unequivocally wrong." Curiously the CIA sat on this information and did not inform the CIA Director, who sided with Bush on the yellowcake claim. This was made public in a bipartisan Senate Intelligence Committee report in July 2004. Valerie Plame also engaged in her own lie campaign by spreading the notion that the Bush Administration outed her as a CIA agent. Never mind that it was Richard Armitage - no friend of the Bush administration - who leaked Plame'sidentity to the press. Never mind that Plame had not been in the field as a CIA agent in some six years. The truth is, due to their opposition to the war, Joe Wilson, Valerie Plame, the mainstream media, and their left-wing friends on the blogo-sphere engaged in a propaganda campaign to undermine the Bush administration. Now that Saddam's uranium has been made public and is no longer a threat to the world, do you think these aforementioned parties will apologize and admit they were wrong? Don't count on it. The rest of the American people should hear the truth about Saddam's uranium. It is up to you and me to inform them. As far as the anti-war crowd is concerned, the next time they say that Bush lied, we should tell them to "have the yellowcake and eat it too." I always feel better when I put an animal out of it's misery, I hate to see them suffer. I'm currently working a job on coyotes that are aggressive towards people. Seems these problems are becoming more frequent.
