    Hey everybody

Thanks Al and Ross. Al I tell my friends that the girls didn't have the grades to get into State lol. She was proud of the turkey, nice bird but absolutely spurless, but that happens from time to time. I've killed them with only one spur, but never no spurs.

    WHY?

Why do the handicapped take handicap parking at times when there is a normal place that's the same distance? It's like an entitlement to most, and most are just fat and don't take care of themselves and working the system. Sad but true.
  3. Fence charger at Lowe's, don't bother with the cheap pet charger, it's a tiny capacitor tingle. Get the cattle grade one and circle the hole. Forty bucks Max and you can unplug it after about three encounters. Just my experience with labs.

    Hey everybody

Yeah been a very long time since I've posted, lots of changes in my life last three years, divorce after almost twenty years was very hard on the family and my twins, but we've managed to get through it, work been extremely challenging, but it is what it is. My girls graduate next Friday, identical twins, valedictorian and salutatorian. I couldn't be more proud of them except they want to go to ole Miss lol. Been dating an ob-gyn for over a year now and have been fortunate to take the girls to Grand canyon, Brice canyon, Glen canyon, antelope canyon, and all their senior spring break. Just got back from Montana and Banff national Park last week, so I've been very fortunate to be going a lot with this new relationship. I've tried a lot of times to get back on using the app, lots of issues but finally logged in through internet tonight to say hi to all of you and tell you I'm still using up perfectly good oxygen lol. Been a good year, lots of changes still in my life but my girls did decide this year they wanted to kill a turkey and was awesome to get one of them a nice bird called in range.
  5. good to hear that Dan! have been on very little myself. take care old boy
  6. you're a good man William! surprised it made it that long undiscovered
  7. Yeah I'm still alive, have a second company to manage, a new startup trying to get going producing power steering pumps to GM service, so I'm busier than I care to be these days. I hope you all have a wonderful independence day and please be careful! Too hot too even fish down here in Mississippi!!!
  8. Nothing much too odd with me. Scratched my chest one evening about to get down and had a barred owl pick up motion and hit me in the chest full on, was scary, but lucky it was cold and enough layers I didn't get scarred. Like Al, frog grabbing and realizing you just beat a cotton mouth that's trying to strike as you grab. Almost getting hit by buckshot on a drive as a kid. Crazy seeing the pine straw rustle at your feet a second before the sound makes it to you, twice. Still waiting on a good old squatch sighting.

Got more yotes on our land than ever this year, going to start trapping them pretty soon I hope. Cool pic William.
  10. Yeah, she was very happy! Meanwhile her sister keeps slinging arrows left and right being impatient. She'll get there lol.
  11. First time to draw, first kill, batting 1000
  12. That's some deer Al! Congrats to your friend!
  13. That's awesome! Good job dad!
  14. Great buck! congratulations!
  15. I have used grape on mineral sites to get them in quick, get the kind that already has sugar added and pour it over your mineral mix
  16. So for my girl's sweet sixteen they wanted to do a little fishing, so we set out on some coordinates about 30 miles off the Alabama coast, too bad red snapper were out of season, we couldn't keep them off the hook. Sharks were out in numbers too

    Busy month...

But not too busy to take my girls out today and try to get them on some amberjack for their sweet sixteen. Time sure does fly by. Then tomorrow I'll be getting ready for a gator hunt next weekend. One day maybe I'll be cutting food plots and then maybe I can find that bow shaped thingy that slings arrows if I can remember how to use it lol.
  19. Yeah it's a year round thing! But they're only young for a short time
  20. Jeb Bush, Santorum, then Carson were my top three. Kinda surprised me.
  21. Hope all goes well for you Cody.
  22. They're pretty much everywhere here, thicker populations in river and swamp areas but I see them in food plots in high cutover areas too. They sure do a lot of damage, fire away Shaun!
  23. Too many good ones to list but I think you should stick with a three blade fixed with a smaller cutting diameter. Look at something like a wasp hammer sst. My girls shoot them and they are well made heads. But there's plenty more out there that will do just fine
