  1. that is weird. My "friends" and I are always jabbing obama and peta and talking hunting and never had anything like that happen. Never even heard of a post getting deleted. Sounds like you got zips in the wire. Check your perimeter.
  2. I am glad I haven't ever been to a show in Iowa or Illinois. I would be crying for weeks after seeing ten million inches of antler from the monster deer you guys have down there. Can't wait for MN deer expo in two weeks. Lee and Tiffany and a whole bunch of stuff I can't afford. Its the best thing outside of food plottin and huntin.
  3. I thought I felt an earthquake in MN during the hockey game today, estimated it at about a 5.2, but it turned out it was just the chili from last night.
  4. Canada can obviously not suck due to the simple fact the largest typical whitetail was taken there. Not to mention a nice lady named peaches I met at teasers in winnipeg.
  5. Great, another gift given to crosby and he finally does something. Now the media will ummmm (don't know a polite way to describe what I am thinking). I will be listening to rome tomorrow as the calls between the US and Canada should be hilarious. Too bad the NHL isn't half as good as the olympics.
  6. Canada has nobody to blame but themselves. They should have put away the US in the second period. Thanks crosby for choking on a wide open breakaway. The next "great one"? I think not.
  7. Oh my gosh. Freaking unbelievable. Getting worked all game by canada and we decided to try the last ninety seconds. Who are we...slovakia? USA....USA....USA
  8. I always get in a poplar right next to a pine tree. We don't have any open hardwoods by us, so it isn't that difficult to find a decent tree.
  9. It must be because they are in a neighborhood that borders farmland and woods. So much to eat around peoples houses, otherwise I woulda thought they all would've dropped.
  10. I always wanted to put some long border strips of tall prairie grass in. However, it seems like alot of maintenance and the price of tall native grasses is down right ridiculous
  11. regardless, I would like to know...she sounds blond.
  12. Just bought a couch and even moving that in the house put me in a bad mood.
  13. You could plant anything you want down there. Get a perennial, clover or alfalfa, beans and/or corn... whatever your neighbors don't have and then put in a little somthing for a late season draw. Don't know how much space you have but thats what I would do. Ga luck.
  14. so far the surge is six inches high...
  15. Give me your 4.3 so I can drop it in my saturn. Haha.
  16. No offense, but you should be so lucky to be a farmer. Only by family or being rich can somebody even get to be a farmer these days. I help out my uncle everytime I go up north. Milkin at 3am and pm, feeding cavs, spreading manure, chopping, and it is the most enjoyable "job" I have ever been a part of. This is not to say I know what its like to do it for years, everyday, but it definitely isn't a curse. Try sitting in a cubicle all day for years next time you find that fresh air oppressive.
  17. I always wondered what an earthquake would feel like, although I don't think I want to find out.
  18. OOOHHH I thought you meant 3k per person. It is hard enough getting up at 4am from a tent on the mountain and hiking two miles to start hunting. I couldn't imagine having to drive and then start hunting. Although scent control would be alot easier with a shower every night. I hope you get another shot at an elk trip.
  19. 3k? Is this guided all you can eat all you can drink. It better not be a DIY hunt or something is terribly wrong.
  20. Its not gonna matter. Womens hockey got put on probation and probably won't even be in the olympics in four years. The U.S. and Canada out scored their opponents 66-3 and apparently people were not impressed.
