man ol man do iknow what your talking about!!!!had an old hunting friend who was really lod and wise on the deer and how they act.like i said he was old and got to the point were he had to got to a home and could only go heater hunting(which is better then no hunting).well after a couple yrs he ended up passing on two wks after takingv his last buck(a 14 point 274lb monster with some help but he did it).anyways he had a beautiful camp he biult just for the family to enjoy.he did end up leaving me and the boys the camp and 10 of the 250 acres.well the family had a ruff time when the bill from the home came.i decided and so did the other guys that were part of the camp estate to pay the family for the camp.well we were never even offered the other land around it.never even new they were selling till it was sold.the next yr went to camp to find all the way around the camp on the other 240 acres were no tresspessing sings.man was i ripped i immediatly called pne of the buddies in on the camp and he came right out.after searching for awhile we called elenore and asked her if she posted the land for others to stay off.boy did she go off the wall.she said she sold the land to pay the bills to an out of stater on the promise the huys from camp could hunt it,and buy the way they posted all around camp it didn'y seem like that was the story.so she got in contact with the new owners and they pretty much told her tough luck.if i would have known it i would have bought it.that land has produced some giants.morale of the story is here in maine we live good if were making 12 bucks an hr.houses are cheap to buy and so is land,compared to out of state.more and more pple are selling their land(out of state)and buying all the land here and posting it.if you go to get permission they just laugh at you.abd then hunt on our un posted land.sorry for the long reply!!!

ya can relate to you all.wife and kids filled their tags.a good 6 point dressed out at 168 and a nice spike dressed out at 142.my hunting buddy and maine game warden had his wife score the big buck in my pic.she was with my wife and i when she tagged out.hey jim t what part of maine you from???

way to go!! its always nice to help others put food on the table.we got to take possesion of a coupl young deer after i called and reported them for illegal harvest and they gave the deer to me and my son..we in turned gave them to hunters for the hungry!!!

bought my first pro hunter last wk and love it.riffle season in maine was over on saturday.wife and kid tagged out but i was skunked(waiting for the wall hanger).so decided to try ml(we only have one wk)my inline ml was all messed up so tryed to find a barrel for my pro hunter.paid 500 bucks for the forend and barrel.kinda high if you ask me.you can buy the omega for 50 bucks more!!did i get robbed or is that about right????

how do the cva work.(by the looks great)for the money how can you go wrong!!my barrel alone for my pro hunter 209x50 was (including forend)was 500 bucks kinda high!!

what states and how many deer can 1 person take.cuz i wanna go were you can get more than 1

well when you said no big horns or monster bucks i kept reading.i also guided my wife and son on their first deer this yr,and what a rush it was.you should feel better then you do when you shoot a monster cuz you got two more ethical hunters into our world.congrates!!!!

just bought the pro hunter haven't had the chance to try ml barrel on it yet having to much fun durring riffle season,but it ended sat. here in maine,today i'm going to put my barrel on and see if i can get in tune with it.will be the first time ever shooting my pro hunter with ml barrel.can't wait!!!will let you know how it turns out. oh and i'm going to use 250 hornady bullets with 100 grs of pyrodex.

pple like to talk to much.some pple go through life thinking they make no mistakes.well i'm here to tell ya we all make them.from what my investigation shows she did every thing she possibly could do to make it right.way to go brenda thanks for giving some of us fellow hunters good names.you did nothing wrong but make a mistake.

thats all that matters! my 10 yr old got his first deer this yr and boy was i proud.for awhile it was alot of see nothing days as here in maine the deer population is horrible.but all that counts is the parent child is in the beautiful woods and having a great time.good luck!!!!

nope give the wife the bank card and i will head to the woods,since saturday is the last day for firearms in maine,i shoot a bow but just stated and don't trust myself yet to hunt with it.

is he stupid what was he thinkin no offense but your a pretty smokin southerngirl;).and who couldn't like a chic who shoots a martin way to go.

congrates on an awesome hunt.that just goes to show stay till it is so dark you can't see in front of you.love to hunt with my kids i think the rush is better when i see my son or wife shoot one than when i do!!!

bought a new pro hunter today.kinda big everybody thought this 45-70 would rip a hole through him like you wouldn't believe.shot a 213 lb 12 pointer today.hit him and took out the heart and both lungs.not as bad as we all thought it would be.let me tell ya deer didn't go far.now they call me and my buddy the 45-70twins.

man that stinks.my grandfather was my hunting teacher.papa never fired at anything before identifying the target.even if it was getting away from it.i hear that that area was pretty good hunting.the grandpa should pay a real stiff penalty.maine riffle season will be over this saturday after thanksgiving.to this day no incidents have occured.and thank the good lord above!!!
