my dad lives in chalfonte and he says he can take me out any time of the day and count lots of deer small deer but lots.(just wish he'd get back into it)

I WANT TO GO!!!!!am supposed to be going to montana in a couple of wks.will be my first ever hunting trip out of state and boy i can't wait.i would give up thanksgiving day turkey any day to go away hunting.like you said eat it early or later...

tclubbs2 you just proved a point and i myself had this problem as i stated.to keep another story short.we as readers do jump to conclusions first without looking over the whole situation.it happened to me i posted a thread real quick one morning before work,the readers read it and took what they wanted out of it.after your last post it sounds to me like you were in the right and he was irogant.i agree if someone is in someones stand they should have permission and know who else is hunting the land,and when approached should respect they stands owner,the owner should alson approach with an open mind as to the mistake!!!thats my opinion!!!

my wife bought me the new 4x4 270 in laminate wood great gun.up and down is just what it says.but windage if i remember right if you want to bring your beam to the right you take it left.go opposite of what you want.i know one of my riffles do it and i'm pretty sure it is that one.

i agree maine has some big deer but that thing is more than big.what did that thing field dress???

i have had this problem with a natural blind i built.i hunt four differant properties and only one i hunt from a blind not stand.we were switching properties one day when i snuck in to my blind.as i approached i could smell ciggerette smoke.i neeled down and listened for a bit and these pple were litteraly numb,making all kinds of noise.so i calmed down went over and asked them to leave because my son and i built that blind and they were ruining the spot by making all the noise and smoking.all along i was trying to be polite about it.they told me that the land was public(which it wasn't) and they have just as much right as i did and i agreed.but tried to explain that my son and i built that blind and have been using it all season.at this point i could tell they had been drinking.so my son and i walked away.we set up at another spot not to far away to here their shot if they took one,and did they ever.right before dark about 10 shots rang out like they were at war.i was worried and called my buddie which is a game warden and he came to take a look.it appeared all the shots that went off were them taking a doe and a fawn.they lost their guns,vehicle and right to hunt for a long period of time.i guess walking away and letting them do their thing might have not been the right thing to do because the doe and fawn got taken to young.but we did get some scumbags out of the hunting world,and we donated the meat to the hunters for the hungry.sorry for the long post!!!

my wife and son all have tags along with me so when the season starts i take them with me.the first deer a nice 6 point(maybe even a small 8 both main beams were broke)my son took,then my wife took a nice little 3 pointer.both really good freezer meat.6 days ago my sister was hunting with us and she got the big buck thats by my name.i thought it was smaller so she took it.but moral of the story is we fill the freezer first then my buck is the wall hanger hopefully.but we also got 1 wk left and then one wk of ml.if it gets close i will take a small one.its really your disgression.

nice buck nothing wrong with that.i'm not a head hunter but love getting them big ol bucks.gotta feed the family 3 kids a hot wife a mortgage,2 truck payments,sleds,wheelers,and my hunting toys gotta feed somehow!!!NICE BUCK real nice buck.

dad lives in chalfonte area.he was an avid hunter and fisher when he lived in maine.moved to pa for a better chance at life and boy did he get it.owns a thriving construction buisness.he hasn't hunted in the last 10-12 yrs.i ask him about the hunting down there and he says he don't really know the laws and season.well to make a long story short am looking for some info on the seasons and for someone to guide us around some good hunting.we are respectable pple and really enjoy the true sport of hunting.any help will be greatly appreciated.

here at camp the five of us think they are definatly two diff deer.the cams a 5x5 and the one shot is a 5x4.two nice deer.

110 lbs.just wondering if thats a big deer where your from.not to be mean it just seams they could be so much bigger.here that would be a baby fawn.just haven't been anywhere else to hunt(but plan to)as you can tell.hope i didn't offend by asking.just curious!!!

having the same prob here in maine.lastweek we got one that was chasing a doe.he was huge.but today was out hunting seen a doe about 40 yrds away from my blind watched her for about 45mins and no buck even came close.but our weather has been really screwed up.good luck and happy safe hunting.wish we were like some other states have a good population and can get more than 1

ya i watched it several times to actualy see what was happening and they both are being released deer first and eagle by the humane being.ya not i agree nemosdeerhuntingneighbor i can watch pple shoot deer all day but something like that,cruel

ya 40 bucks is kinda low.maybe this guy is some dude who is either really good at it or someone looking to find your sweet spot!!!

william we have bagged som pretty good deer this yr and all 3 of them we got sitting in a blind on the edge of a field.we got 3 stands and for some reason the deer have been not running the trails during the day.we got some real nice trails and lots of pics but the pics show they are running the trail at 9pm -5am.but i have a question for you.do you use scent eliminator on your cloths.i used it 2 yrs ago and it seemed to nit work at all.i even dressed when i got to the area i was hunting.just want to be undetected when wanting to sneak in on a buck,and how have you been successfull???
