Scary times last night! Wow! Sorry to hear that, glad you weren't hurt. The ED I work at per-diem was on lock down last year, shooting victim arrived via POV and was being chased by the shooter. Cops got him in our parking lot. I've been full time at a level 1 trauma center since April... being on the trauma team, I've seen tons of GSW's in just a few months! Scary!

Man... I was thinking the same thing! I lived about 40 miles as the crow flies from the towers and often scoped them from the beach. I think that was the only spot they were visible from Suffolk county LI, were I lived. In July of 2001 my wife and I took a cruise around Southern Manhattan, I remember the tour guide saying that on a clear day you could see the outskirts of Philly from the top floor. Just incredible.
