back from my wva hunt. had a great time. would have a one point upgrade but he had busted a brow tine off almost flush. also took a nice doe.

yea ive boiled my fair share but a Friend of mine was telling me he heard this worked well. i figured if there was any truth to it all the gurus on here would know about it.

congrats guys. i am leaving for my wva rifle hunt right after thanksgiving dinner. upgrade unlikely but there is always that small chance.

got this pic on the phone claiming it was shot by a amish man that refused to have his pic taken. then it was shot at gamelands near my house. and finally it was shot by my little brother.

heading to wva next weekend. a very small chance for an upgrade. but it will be a guarantee of a great time. the only time of year i get to bust out the rifle. have a brand new 30 06 to break in.

was the blood bright red? could it have been a high shot taking one lung with most of your trail coming out of his mouth? still makes no sense with a completely clean arrow. was the arrow laying on the ground or stuck in the dirt?

wow were all the way down to third now. keeping my fingers crossed for the remaining hunters on our team.

found her. he was so excited. this may have been my best weekend ever.

Justin scores! he stuck a doe tonight at about 5pm. we watched her stumble up the trail falling twice. waited a half hour celebrating in the stand. got on a good blood trail but she went through some tuff brush and i ran out of light. marked the last blood and backed out. he has a wrestling match in the morning so were going out after that to recover her. thanks to everyone here in the forums who helped me with my many questions on getting him ready. hopefully i will have some pics for you tomorrow.
