Re: Getting back to business... I do need to get into Chat. Haven't been there in a while. Right now Little League is eating up my time. No more shows until Germany in March (yes, they have outdoor trade shows too). Will be over there for about 8 days. Then I am home for a while. S

I appreciate the folks that have come in and apologized for some of the troubles we had earlier in the week. I have some new rules in the works. In the meantime, I want the forums to get back to working like they have for the last 5 years or so. I will be reinstating some members as soon as I have time to sort it all out. I have informed the moderators that I will now be the bad guy and the executioner if needed. I will ban someone for anywhere from a day, to a week, to a year, or for life. I hope I don't have to, but the terms will be based on the offense. If it happens, take it up with me through email ([email protected]). If you have a post deleted take it up with me through email. Do not air your grievences online. It's a waste of space and it knocks constructive threads further down the page. We run a tight ship. It's for a reason. I like it and there are a whole lot of people in here that do. When you work for a company that uses a tagline of "Family Friends and the Outdoors" you tend to lean toward a clean environment. Thanks, S

Re: SCOTT...MODS...FELLOW MEMBERS Apology accepted. Many have been today. Stay safe. S

Re: A public apology Give Clay some time. He has a full schedule. I am certain he will accept the apology and hug ya. This is a great example of what these forums are all about. S

Re: OK, even I found this to be gross I have raised three boys who have been sick on many levels. If you think this can gross me out, you are sadly mistaken. I have seen, cleaned and witnessed the worse when it comes to being sick (and from both ends). This post is very mild when comparing! S

Here they come! http://iht.com/bin/print_ipub.php?file=/articles/2005/02/06/news/refuge.html These are the liberals that will only add to your conservative woes (including gun control).

Re: Help!I need a tow!Pic This southern boy cannot relate to this. I wouldn't even walk across a body of water that is frozen, much less drive my truck over it. And snowmobiles? I know what they are but have never even seen one run. Just give me a 4-wheeler and red Georgia clay! S

Re: Jay Gregory???? Jay is now with MO and there were no falling outs. It was strictly a business decision agreed upon by both parties. Jay is a great guy and is still good friends with many of us here at Realtree. S

Re: NEW MAX-1 I will post some of the pattern itself. S

Re: NEW MAX-1 You western hunters should like it. We have been testing it this winter out there and it works. And wait till you see what it does amongst the sandy soil and palmettos in Fl for that spring turkey hunting. S

Sometime Thursday morning the site will be down for a couple of hours for a server switch. S

Re: Jack Scores His First Buck (Pic)! Between you and me Buckee, he has been consistent when he makes a hit. Last year he missed three. I must admit that they were 150-200 yards though. Shoot, I'm a toss up at those distances. S

Re: Jack Scores His First Buck (Pic)! What's funny is this is his second deer. Both great shots through the shoulder. And on both we have found the bullet lodged between the shoulder and inside skin on the other side. That .243 has been very consistent! S

UBB9-ML-536925-ML- OK, he has had his louge fame. Now it's time for him to move on to the appropriate room. S

... and before his Dad. Jack took his first buck this morning and I must confess it is bigger than my first buck (which was a button yearling) years ago. I put him up in his stand about a half hour before daylight and told him to only turn on his radio (a two-way) and contact me if he shot something. I walked through the dark, over and through the woods and was in my stand for 10 minutes when all of a sudden a distant "BOOM!” followed by a “Dad I got one down!” over the radio. Before I could ask questions he had turned the radio off because he thought he was gonna have a shot at some does that were with it (the game hog never did). Despite a short morning hunt for me and a big fat zero this afternoon, we had a good time. Even got in a mid-day quail hunt in 60 degree weather. Now we go back in the a.m. and see if we can get Jack’s cousin Chance his first one. The twin boys will join Dad for the ever elusive whitetail and Jack is now on a strict game management program looking for a big buck or does for the freezer. S

Re: Guess who i met at Walmart? Thanks Ralph and Vicki and congratulations on the recent awards Archers Choice has won. Definately one of the best ones out there and Realtree is proud to be a part of it. Ralph, I hear you when it comes to dragging those deer and what it will do to you. I am 6' 1" and don't get to drag those big bucks out like you do so my height has not been a concern. But let me tell you what a couple of does a year will do to ya. After a couple of years the down force creates a lot of drag on the mid section and the waist line expands terribly. It's strange. I am currently seeing specialists and hope to have it worked out soon. S

Re: Michael Waddell Michael has posted in the forums before but his time is limited and it gets tough. He can be emailed at rtmail1@realtreeoutdoors but responses will take a while and sometimes if it is a question asked a lot there are standard replies sent back (just to help with the overload). The lanyard's were something we had made for the employees and some of our licensed manufacturers a few years ago to use as badge holders at some trade shows. They are not available anywhere that I know of. The calls Michael uses are Quaker Boy. Thanks, S
