Hook up with an accomplished archer in your area. Practicing bad habits is no good. Start out the right way before you get bad habits engrained in your head. And you can't have someone sight it in for you. And don't try too hard to hold the bow steady. You can't and don't have to, to hit what you want. Some of the best archers in the world still have some movement. Just think about aiming and squeezing and holding the bow up until the arrow hits the target. Adding a bow sling will prevent the bow from flying out of your hand AND make you quit worrying about dropping it on the shot and hence, grabbing for it (which causes accuracy problems). Good luck, don't take it too serious and keep it fun!
