  1. I don't know about y'all, but I enjoyed watching the truck and busch race. Johnny Benson won driving a Toyota (giving Toyota another win ) and a rookie beat the buschwackers in KY. There was alot of good racing there and I hope the cup race is as good.

    Call no man a fool

Re: Call no man a fool [ QUOTE ] The Bible says, "call no man a fool". Is it OK to call them Idiots ?..... [/ QUOTE ] No calling people turds either!
  4. Re: world hunt competition [ QUOTE ] but if I were you I'd go back and edit some things you said in your last post [/ QUOTE ] Okay, substitute California for Canada!
  5. Re: world hunt competition [ QUOTE ] And buckee is also correct in saying that tournament or competitive fishing is a widely accepted practice and is generally considered a sport, even by those who fish but choose not to do so competitively. [/ QUOTE ] Fish vs Mammals? What make one more valuable to the ecosystem than the other? Many things in this world are widely accepted. (take a look at what California accepts ) That does not make it right. Buckee is a big boy and can speak for himself..
  6. Re: world hunt competition [ QUOTE ] Fish and animals are far apart. Comparing fish to animals, is like comparing animals to humans. [/ QUOTE ] After that statement, thanks for the "laugh of the day"!
  7. Re: world hunt competition I'm glad no one ever made any money or prizes from big buck and bass contests.........
  8. Re: world hunt competition [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] And how does this differ from fishing tournaments? [/ QUOTE ] I'd say a very Large percentage of people (most) do not put fish and mammals in the same basket. No way, no how [/ QUOTE ] And that makes one okay and the other so far out wrong? We are still exploiting an animal from the great outdoors by getting the biggest one or most.
  9. Re: Whats wrong with this country Doesn't make since to me. Getting beat with a pipe, held at gun point and he escapes? Oh well, it's the great northeast where lawyers rule.

    my new wheels

Re: my new wheels I like the pic with the girl roasting marshmallows. Is that a washer tub as a firepit?
  19. Re: how many things have you bought on ebay? A bow and alot of archery supplies. A car and a truck, and alot of parts for my old VW Scirocco. And a few parts for the other vehicles too. I've got 80 transactions on my feedback. Probably 70 or so items are from buying. I bought my '04 Bowtech Pro40 Dually there for $400 when it was considered new. If I ever buy another bow, it'll probably be ebay.
  20. Re: A thing of PURE BEAUTY [ QUOTE ] I saw a show on this thing a while back. UNBELIEVABLE!!!! They put one 22 up in a simulated dogfight with 3 or 4 or 5 (don't exactly remember) 16's (again, can't remember....but it was the next step down in state-of-the-art fighter performance.....mighta been MIG's). Anyhow......the piolts of the other planes (who all "died" in simulated combat) said that the first inkling you have that you're being engaged by the 22 is when you're on your way down. I think the show was on the History Channel. Hopefully it'll re-run. [/ QUOTE ] I saw that show too. If it was the same one, they were flying F-15's. I've been in the plant where they were being put together. It's pretty cool.
  21. Re: Goals for the upcoming season? [ QUOTE ] Since today is my first day in Missouri (taking a new job next week), my goal is to find some hunting land, scout, and arrow a deer. I enjoy nothing more than scouting new ground and having success with a bow. [/ QUOTE ] Cancel those plans. I'm headed to Huntsville, AL. I was just hours away from signing a rental agreement and then got a call for a slightly better paying job in Alabama. 6 hrs is alot closer to family than 14-15. I had to do it. But Missouri would have been fun....Oh well bowhunting in Alabama will be a first also.
  22. Re: Dale Jr. Fathers Day Paint Scheme Now that's my kind of "bowtie"!!!

  24. Someone used a bow to kill some folks. It's on now! CSI
  25. Re: Repair a Washing Machine? Do a search at google for appliance repair. There is some good sights out there that tell you how it should operate. Once I read some websites and got my multimeter out, I troubleshot a bad fuse down underneath my dryer. The fuse was $11. It worked great since. Also, if you troubleshoot it down to a component, don't go to Sears. Go to a mom and pops appliance repair with the part number. It should be alot cheaper.
