Re: too much I think it really depends on how the teacher teaches during the class. Some teachers do nothing during class and expect the parents to do it all at home. Some teachers are really creative during class and pushes kids to want to learn and the acceptance for doing homework is there. But for K-4, I'd say 30-60 minutes each night to instill the "school isn't over when the bell rings" mentality. Once homework becomes the norm, it becomes just a part of life. But the elementary, middle, and high schools should be in snyc with that.

Re: Goals for the upcoming season? Since today is my first day in Missouri (taking a new job next week), my goal is to find some hunting land, scout, and arrow a deer. This will be the 8th state I've bowhunted, with success in five already. I enjoy nothing more than scouting new ground and having success with a bow.

Re: Weird things while you sleep? Not sure if this qualifies. I was out of town on business one week and during my sleep, I had a dream my dog yelped and was hurt. It was so real I woke and sat up real quick wondering what the heck happened. At the end of the week, when I got home, my wife said my dog (Amy) had cut her nose in a fence sometime when I was gone.
