Well, I drew a bear tag for the "Spring of 2015". I'm headed up there this spring "Spring of 2014" with three friends and will hunt out of Steve B's place. Steve.... you can only imagine how excited we are:). Tickets bought, hotels reserved, item list being made. That being stated, I was the only one who didn't draw a tag for this year. I'll just be the Sherpa, pack boy and videographer & if Steve allows me... the boat CAPTAIN. I decided to apply for a tag for the fall of 2014 with the hopes of returning and doing an "on my own adventure". Building off of what I will learned on the first trip. I really want to hunt those Sitka deer and that's why I applied for the fall as first choice. I applied first choice as Fall and second choice as spring. Well, I was rejected for the fall and given the spring tag, so NO deer hunting for me on the island. Still have to decide if I will actually go next spring. OK, I have seen these and here is the question... "What are the aerodynamics and accuracy and at what range". I see the site says "2" groups at 25 yards".... I'd like to see that. good luck to all the dog

I bought into a lottery last year from the "Wyoming bowhunters assoc". I can not remember the details, however, the odds were like 1 in 300 which weren't that bad. The lottery you mention seems like a real long shot... it would be great to win. good luck to all the dog

I have had these problem for some time now. HERE IS HOW I SOLVE THE PROBLEM: In the reply area.... upper left there are two boxes... one with A/a and another with A/a with an "X" through it. When you reply the box with the "X" through it will automatically come up and that is where the problems occur. If your hit the box without the "X" it will let you type, space and start new lines just fine. (and all the letters actually appear) Good luck to all the dog

HAPPY THANKSGIVING 5:30 am, 15 degrees, snow on the ground, clear skies, no wind, so many clothes on I can hardly walk (remember "Christmas Story" when the kid falls over and can not get back up... that was almost me), dressed in full camo, sitting under a tree in the dark, watching as the sun comes up, waiting for turkeys to start talking, calling turkeys, hearing turkeys talk back to me, seeing turkeys 200 yards away sitting in the trees, seeing turkeys fly down, Marty moving with stealth.... like a leopard across the Serengeti plains of Africa (not bad for a 54 year old guy), getting to within 15 yards of the turkeys, sitting in the snow for 15 minutes until they move to give me a shot and last (but not least) giving ThAnKs to GOD for this day and the life I have. Do I look cold??? & I know it's small, however, in the fall I am a "meat hunter" and any turkey gets shot. good luck to all the dog
