Re: Luckily no one hurt As Ted Nugent had said "where have we heard this before".....I feel for you buddy.....thank God no one was hurt...I posted my CRASH story, and as far as the rental vehicle, you are ENTITLED to a vehicle that holds as many as your YUKON does.....trust me, my wife totalled my 94 Silverado Ex cab that seats at least 6, and the other insurance company had to cough up a 2001 Station wagon....its better that a YUGO.....I just settled the claim with 1,000 more than my poor hunting truck was worth.........it was the other guys fault also.............................al

Re: G5 Montec Broadheads, the verdict......... Well gang, I have an old target, and somehow an old Nugent 125 grain Magnus was stuck in the target from last year.....you guessed it, my Montec found it, and split the broadhead in two....Tim Rosquist from the forums was with me, and UNO was on the phone with me at the time....lol....you cant believe the toughness of this head, it sliced 1/2 way through the Nugent shaft starting with the hole the insert goes in.......pics will follow....gotta love a tough and accurate head......................................and racinghunter, I admire all who shoot with a recurve...truly an art form. al

Sure praying for you buddy......hope everything goes well with the operation and healing process.....al

I have done a bit of research on this bow for my boys, and the newest ones supposedly have a draw stop on them for the shooter, however if you get one that does not, then we are not teaching proper shooting form, and the bow only has approx. 35 pound of kinetic energy, so I would apt to say no to a hunting situation.......I was actually looking into the Darton Enticer, it is a 25-45 pound bow in camo for approx. the same price, and it could be used in a hunting situation....however if money is as tight at your house as it is mine, email me what the wife and daughter need, I may have it in my garage....................................al

Re: Kinda bummed... Well Jim, you are more than welcome buddy, I sure hope you get drawn again next year as well.....you did it buddy, scouting, knowing the terrain, and not sitting still when you needed to hunt them birds down....persistance payed off........great looking bird buddy, we are all proud of you......tell the wife we wish her the best, and to have a safe and happy pregnancy.........now she wont have to listen to anymore turkey calls in the house.....LOL>............................al

Re: JimT/Lucky Strikers Score-PICS-!!!!!!! Well Jim, no one said them darn birds played by the rules......I am so pumped for you buddy.....now if you can get a tag every year, that would rock.....you only had to wait 7 years for this tag......hope the taxidermist does the bird justice partner....glad to read the exciting story, it sounded like you had a great hunt......enjoy your feast..........and your memories.......turkey hunting is addicting though, just thought I'd warn you....LOL........al

Re: New Bow.... Re: Patterned my shotgun again... Jim......hey buddy, I really want you to try the 4x6 duplex buddy.....really, remington makes a good shell for the turkey birds, I think your gun will pattern better with the combo of 4 and 6 pellets.....I average 84 hits in the head and neck at 30 yards with the 4 x 6 duplex....if you cant locate any, Ill express mail you some partner........AL

Re: Camo Jim......I really like the HD green made by Realtree. My ultimate favorite is a cheap 39.00 leaf cut suit in Realtree that slips over your camo...you can check ebay, they sell for 40 bucks, or Basspro is selling them like hot cakes for the same...I love the leaf cut 3 d effect, it breaks up your outline and you dont get over heated......................al
