  4. Re: Oklahoma Bow Camp cat pee??? you guys ain't right
  5. Re: New Spot, Big Deer! great looking buck, congrats
  6. Re: What do you think i hunt with a climber so I may be the wrong person to ask, but you won't kill them if you are not in it. I have had them come running up to me climbing before to check out the noise I guess??????
  7. Re: Oklahoma Bow Camp i think i am going to leave my bow at home and just bring a sling shot the way this is shaping up........
  8. Re: Oklahoma Bow Camp i'm not dumb, just play it on tv.
  9. Re: Wet-lok? i am sure the scent control still works, but mine acts like a sponge.......
  10. Re: Oklahoma Bow Camp as long as there are some cold suds back at camp it will be worth the money i am sure. i never expect to kill, just hope........i am bringing a gps for sure now gator, thanks for the heads up.
  11. Re: Offset for Blazer Vanes? i have not shot them, but i have never seen anyone offset those..........
  12. Re: Oklahoma Bow Camp oh I can do that, I was just thinking one of you local guys would know. besides I can not buy too many tags or the missouri boys will kill all your deer......
  13. Re: Oklahoma Bow Camp well I like that number better than the 400. If I get just one tag, is it an anydeer tag (buck or doe) I would be happy with one in a weekend hunt. I know it is online but I figured you guys would just know.
  14. Re: Understanding Oklahoma regulations... usually you just have to use your rifle tag, but can use your bow to fill them, even though archery season is closed, that is why you are hunting on rifle tags. that is how it is here in missouri. i hunted six days of rifle season last year, only one with a gun......
  15. Re: Hmm..what do you think? i would consider the corn field stand it the deer are still feeding out there.
  16. Re: Oklahoma Bow Camp those tags are steep, you guys better believe if a deer doesn't go down, there will be an eight point squirrel hanging from our meat pole for that price.
  17. Re: Oklahoma Bow Camp I forgot you guys have broadhead restrictions there. What do I need to shoot to be legal? Are there any other rules like that I should be aware of?
  18. Re: Yahoo! I broke tradition! congrats, i knew you would get one. great story.
  19. Re: Oklahoma Bow Camp they always looked like little bullseyes to me!!!!!
  20. Re: Oklahoma Bow Camp wait so you guys are telling me you don't shoot them with spots down there???? Those make the most tender steaks.
  21. Re: Hot spot?? It is hard to really know by the size of scrapes and rubs and tracks even, just how big a deer really is. I would say sit tight and you should see him. The spot sounds great, ten yards is close, where you safety harness and get high and out of his line of sight, especially if he is coming off of a hill, becuase you will be eye level with him at some point no matter how high you get. Good luck and go get him.
  22. Re: I blew it!!! it happens to all of us. sounds like you had a good morning other than that. stick with them, he will be back in a couple weeks chasing all them does.
  23. Re: Oklahoma Bow Camp well i will make an eight point rack out of toothpicks for my squirrel if I have to................
  24. Re: buddy missed a big one and i think its might f that sucks, but you can't beat yourself up over it. we always designate a place to meet and a time when we are going to get down, this way that does not happen to us. if you agree to get down at ten and deer are on you at 950 you obviouly are not getting down until you shoot or they leave...........
