Re: THE GREAT COLORADO ELK HUNT [ QUOTE ] TexasTrophies, Over the Counter Bull Unlimited Licenses are good in any unit during 2nd and 3rd rifles EXCEPT for units which have no unlimited seasons. There is a list of them and an explanation on page 24 at the top of the middle column in this years big game pamphlet. Only Three Units touch 55 that you can't hunt in and two of those are south of the Gunnison river. which is a long way away. The other unit, 56, only touches 55 at a single point and you shouldn't have to worry about it. You may hunt unit 55 and most of the surrounding units on your general license during 2nd and 3rd rifle. The RT hunt is 2nd rifle. You are good to go. Sorry that there has been confusion, Beanman [/ QUOTE ] That's the way I read and understand it. UNLIMITED RIFLE ELK There are antlered elk licenses for the 2nd and 3rd seasons only. They are valid in all units except ....... I read that as the license can be used in more than one unit, as long as the unit is not in the "excepted list". Was thinking about maybe slipping over to 54 and giving it a try also, if 55 gets a little to crowded. -

This is a math test. Do this in your head, no calculator or paper& pencil. Add this up and then select your answer. Take one thousand and add forty to it, now add another thousand, then add thirty to that. Now add another thousand, and now add twenty to that. Add another thousand to that and then add ten more to it. What is your answer?

Re: New 4 Wheeler Switched to the PoPo because it fit my riding style a little better. Absolutely no complaints about the kawi, other than it wouldn't stay on the trailer. Here is a pic from a couple of days ago. Doing a few mods to the new one.

HEALTH QUESTION & ANSWER SESSION Q: I've heard that cardiovascular exercise can prolong life; is this true? A: Your heart is only good for so many beats, and that's it... don't waste them on exercise. Everything wears out eventually. Speeding up your heart will not make you live longer; that's like saying you can extend the life of your car by driving it faster. Want to live longer? Take a nap. Q: Should I cut down on meat and eat more fruits and vegetables? A: You must grasp logistical efficiencies. What does a cow eat? Hay and corn. And what are these? Vegetables. So a steak is nothing more than an efficient mechanism of delivering vegetables to your system. Need grain? Eat chicken. Beef is also a good source of field grass (green leafy vegetable). And a pork chop can give you 100% of your recommended daily allowance of vegetable products. Q: Should I reduce my alcohol intake? A: No, not at all. Wine is made from fruit. Brandy is distilled wine, that means they take the water out of the fruity bit so you get even more of the goodness that way. Beer is also made out of grain. Bottoms up! Q: How can I calculate my body/fat ratio? A: Well, if you have a body and you have fat, your ratio is one to one. If you have two bodies, your ratio is two to one, etc. Q: What are some of the advantages of participating in a regular exercise program? A: Can't think of a single one, sorry. My philosophy is: No Pain...Good ! Q: Aren't fried foods bad for you? A: YOU'RE NOT LISTENING!!!... Foods are fried these days in vegetable oil. In fact, they're permeated in it. How could getting more vegetables be bad for you? Q: Will sit-ups help prevent me from getting a little soft around the middle? A: Definitely not! When you exercise a muscle, it gets bigger. You should only be doing sit-ups if you want a bigger stomach. Q: Is chocolate bad for me? A: Are you crazy? HELLO Cocoa beans! Another vegetable!!! It's the best feel-good food around! Q: Is swimming good for your figure? A: If swimming is good for your figure, explain whales to me. Q: Is getting in-shape important for my lifestyle? A: Hey! 'Round' is a shape! Well, I hope this has cleared up any misconceptions you may have had about food and diets. And remember: "Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Chardonnay in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO HOO, What a Ride"

Re: Pool table question a 4x8 foot table if it is centered in a 9x13 foot room will only leave 2.5 feet outside of the playing surface of the table. add about 6 inches for on each side for the table itself and you are now down to just 2 foot between the table and the wall. That would be extremely difficult. Might want to up those dimensions to something more like 14'x18'.
