  1. I turned 9 in RT years about a week ago. There has been a lot of times here, both good & bad. And don't worry, I am sure some people have called me worse names than Chuck.
  2. Kind of interesting that all of a sudden no one cares about property rights and freedom of religion.:bang:
  3. Nice articles & pics.
  4. I gotta disagree with you. It doesn't say firearms can't be mailed, but just in small quantities. Below that it shows the items that absolutely can't be mailed. Here it is, but I think you might want to push this a little harder.
  5. Thank you Jim. There are still a few bad moments/days for both of us, but I guess we will always have them. Been wondering about you, haven't seen you on here lately . Hope all is good in your piece of heaven on earth.
  6. Very nice. Once you get through with it, you will be able to sit back and enjoy how nice it is and also have the pride of doing it yourself.
  7. Yea, it has the D-max. Haven't got on it real had yet, but it does seem to have more power than my '06 D-max has.
  8. I know, and what is worse yet is he knows. But I tell him I don't mind so much as long as he continues to get straight A's in school, wrong or right, I consider that an acceptable trade off. I also tell him that he is going to be in for a shock when he gets out in the real world.

    2011

My son turned 16 and got his license a little while ago. He has been telling me for quite some time that when he got his license he would get my truck and I would need to get a new one. Yesterday afternoon I was able to hand him the keys to my 2006 pickup with 185,000 miles on it when we went to pick up my 2011 version. Here it is.
  10. Welcome aboard Will. Look forward to your post.

    Got one

If you take those big mirrors off it would be a decent looking bike. Besides, you don't need no stinking mirrors, you will be going to fast to worry about anything behind you.:angel2: Have fun and enjoy it. Get some video of your wheelies for us.:cell:
  12. Yea the thrower just slides into the 2" receiver on the truck. I don't know if you would call it real remote, we got electricity and running water, a tv that pics up a couple of stations, a microwave etc., but you do have to hit quite a few miles of gravel roads and go through a few gates to get to it. Thanks everyone.
  13. Spent the weekend at my parents place cleaning up and what have you. We took a little time out to do some shooting also. And I got a chance to play with my new camera some. Here are a few of my shots I got. Took this picture Saturday evening. Not much breeze blowing. Here is a pic of the camphouse (yea I know it needs painting). Got burgers on the grill. This next sequence of pictures is of Jake shooting clays. My brother in law is in the background tripping the slinger. These last two are of a clay getting hit. Man, it was hot, but we had a good weekend and got a lot accomplished. Hope you enjoyed them.
  14. I have told Kyle he is number 1 many times, but he keeps coming back. Time to start another poll on banning, not demoting. The only reason Texas isn't an island is because Oklahoma and Arkansas suck so much.
  15. Just saw the replay and I don't see where he did anything wrong. He is in front and trying to block to win the race. Just wasn't there in time. Last lap looks like hard racing to me. BTW, I don't like Edwards at all, so that is not part of my opinion.
  16. Happy birthday Steve. Hope y'all are having fun in your journeys.

    Mom

Sorry to hear this Norm, you and your family are in my thoughts & prayers.
  18. I had to vote no. Never used it. I do know where the ban button is, though. Does that count?:cowboy:
  19. Jacob & I went to the hunting show in Katy, TX where Randy was performing today. We got there just a few minutes before his last show started, just time to say hi. We got to watch an amazing performance. To anybody that hasn't had the chance to see his show, try to do it if he is ever near you. After the show, Randy spent at least 30 -45 minutes talking with anybody that had questions and signing autographs for anybody that wanted one. He was the main attraction of this hunting show. Finally, after everyone had left Jake & I had a chance to talk with him, his dad & buddy. Shortly before they closed the place down and ran us out, Randy was kind enough to give Jake a cap, after he had stuck a lifesaver on it and shot it and then signed it. After they had ran us out, we were talking in the parking lot next to his truck, which is camo'd out. While we were talking, it started pouring down rain, so they made us get in the truck with them, and he took us over to my truck. I guess what I am saying in short is, he is a pretty good guy. The understatement of the show was when he said and I am paraphrasing because I don't remember the exact words, but it went something like this: While discussing a recurve bow with a young kid, "I am okay with a compound". Yea, I would say you are okay with one also. The bad news was, I forgot to take a camera in with me, but here are a couple of pictures of the cap Jake got. Thank you Randy, and good luck with the truck. Here you can see the lifesaver remains stuck to the bill of the cap with the hole in the center of them. And here is the autographed side.
