  1. Re: Which Performs the best???? [ QUOTE ] I guess this question would be better suited for a professional archer. Someone who could just drill a target time after time like a machine. This would be quite an eye opener to the who is best or which is best or even which one preforms best. I can shoot my PSE Nova just as well as my Bowtech and with all of the stuff on the string the BT is faster but is it any better or did it preform better?? In my way of thinking (simple mind) dead is dead no matter what you shoot it with, as long as it gets the job done..... it preformed it's task, but a good question still [/ QUOTE ] I'm by no means professional, but I do get to shoot all these bows at work, and the bigger names do perform much better......but you are right....."Dead is dead".
  2. Re: Which Performs the best???? [ QUOTE ] Mathews...founded by Mathews Mcpherson Parker...founded by and still president Robert Errett [/ QUOTE ] And Parker bought by Mathews.
  3. Re: Diamond versus Bowtech [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] Diamond is the more affordable brand from Bowtech, much like Reflex is for Hoyt, or Parker is for Mathews. These smaller branches of the companies were developed to allow the big companies to get their bows into the huge chainstores at more affordable prices for the consumer. [/ QUOTE ] Parker is an off brand for Mathews?????????? [/ QUOTE ] Sure are.
  4. Re: Which Performs the best???? [ QUOTE ] Mathews and Parker??? These are from the same company??? [/ QUOTE ] Yes they are. You'll always get better performance out of the major name, but the lesser parts of those 3 companies (Parker, Reflex, and Diamond) still perform very well and are out there for those that like Hoyt, Mathews, and Bowtech, but can't afford one.
  5. Re: MUZZY\'S NEW Broadhead Isn't the Alpine a solo-cam? If so then you won't have a timing problem, but Shawn could be right with the cam lean. The axle pockets could be slightly off on the new limbs.
  6. Re: Gobbler Guillotine (video) You may be surprised but you can still get a bird mounted after lopping his head off........keep in mind that a lot of taxidermists use fake heads on mounts and you just can't tell. These heads are awesome......unfortunately I don;t have any arrows long enough, or I'd use them this weekend.
  7. Re: MUZZY\'S NEW Broadhead Why were the limbs replaced, Luke? If they were cracked or broken, then I'm willing to bet your riser is twisted.
  8. Re: CSI Tonight GG = Gill Grissom + = Is with ? = it's a mystery.....or it was, lol.
  9. Re: Mother-in-law joke [ QUOTE ] That's just wrong!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But Freakin hilariuos!! [/ QUOTE ] My thoughts exactly, lol.
  10. Re: CSI Tonight [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] Did you notice the top of the stool between Brass' body and Catherine Willows? [/ QUOTE ]What about it? [/ QUOTE ] This was written on it in dust: "GG+?" I knew Grissom and Sidle had a thing going......it's been that way for the whole season, you just had to see the reactions around each other when certain things were said.
  11. Re: In the words of Nuge \"Thanks all my bloodbrothers\" [ QUOTE ] Yall are getting me pumped.. Im going to have to turn the flood lights on and start shooting my bow.. What can you kill in May thats big!!lol Waddell [/ QUOTE ] Michael, the offer I made to you at the Kinsey show last year in Hershey, PA still stands. I'll take you out for some extreme turkey hunting in May in the mountains here in Vermont with archery gear........even though you prefer to "slap 'em up side the head with the shotgun" as you put it, lol.
  12. Re: MUZZY\'S NEW Broadhead As I said.....they know their stuff, but they need to be reminded that they are not the best thing since sliced bread. Just keep on them if you ever have any doubts.......otherwise, I'm sure you'll be fine. I only brought it up to keep you aware.
  13. Re: going to city hall Well, Chris, I hope all went well with your meeting.......How much fuss were you forced to raise?
  14. Re: CSI Tonight Did you notice the top of the stool between Brass' body and Catherine Willows?
  15. Re: GPS units??? If you're not worried about the radio feature of the Rhino then the Garmin Etrex Vista is a sure winner.
  16. Re: MUZZY\'S NEW Broadhead Sorry, bud, but when it comes to something as important as safety with archery equiptment, I refuse to pull any punches.
  17. Re: MUZZY\'S NEW Broadhead Pelkey's isn't as great as some might think. I've repaired 2 of their mistakes in the past month alone, and I'm located 2.5 hours south of them. And my buddy Steve has fixed a lot more then that. They have always had great service, but I think they're starting to think they're great and it's affecting their work.

    Alligator attacks

Re: Alligator attacks She didn't kill the Gator......it was removed from her home, and released back into a lake where they said it will "Self Heal".........I laughed my butt off when I heard that she was issued a ticket for hunting out of season in her own kitchen as the gator tried to come in through the doggy-door.

    NCIS

Re: NCIS No, he's not gone for good......it's their way of putting Tony in charge to handle some big issue.
  20. Re: CSI Tonight He's a goner......and if they had to kill off any member of the cast, he was the one who's departure would hurt the show the least. I like the show, but I prefer CSI-NY more, and NCIS is better then them all.
  21. Re: Flutie retires Miss his play on the field? He hasn't played in quite a while outside of the dropkick.
  22. Re: Would like some thoughts on this claim.... Not a problem......any other questions just drop me a PM.
  23. Re: Old movie/ tv show thread... [ QUOTE ] Magnum PI Three's Company Eight Is Enough The Facts of Life Gilligan's Island Lost In Space The Brady bunch The Waltons Little House on The Prairie [/ QUOTE ] Those are the ones I remember too......and when the president came on the whole night was shot right in the butt.

  25. Re: Would like some thoughts on this claim.... [ QUOTE ] Its been said before...speed just makes you miss faster [/ QUOTE ] Now where have I heard this before, LMAO. Luke 330 FPS is very possible in bows today for IBO speeds, but nobody will EVER match that with their hunting set-ups. I hear the same thing from people all the time....."My bow shoots 315 fps, because (insert company name here) says so in their ads." I then show them the AMO speed of the bow from our charts and tell them that they must be shooting that speed too, which is much much lower........once they stop and think about it, I explain to them that if they took the IBO and AMO speeds, they'll find themselves just about in the moddle of the two with a hunting set-up.
