Re: Offensive book in school library You people do realize that there were books in schools when we were there that talked about these exact same things, but were cleverly disguised as other things. Todd, I have a real problem with the Bible having been taken out of schools as well....this same attitude had that removed, just because someone didn't like it. BTH, nice try at turning my words. Buckee, you've contradicted yourself....at least around here. Public school libraries are also concidered open to the public, and in some cases, local kids must go to the college library to get the books they need. Do we now remove books studied in college to prevent kids from seeing the stuff college students read and study?

Re: Offensive book in school library Another offended parent jumps on something and will lead to more issues in school.......you do realize that your kind of thinking is what got schools in the position they are in today.....no praying in school, can't wear clothes with ads on them for ANYTHING.....It's a book and covered as prtected free speech in the constitution. Leave it alone, and just explains to your kid that she isn't to read it.

Re: Crossbow Facts ** Being born and raised with bows, I'm of a totally different opinion then BOHNTR. The crossbow came long before guns and isn't even as powerful as a bow. It was put in for bowhunting season due to it being a primitive weapon, and the fact that it shoots very much the same as a bow, with the exception that it's locked into the drawn position. Since that seems to be the reason you don't like them, would you have draw-lock bows banned from bowseason as well?

Re: Bows making a wierd noise Take the sights off and shoot your target up close and listen........I've found that some sights are really noisy no matter how tightly they're screwed on. If you have a drop-away rest, it could be the noise of the rest dropping.

Re: Drop away or Prong Style for Accuracy? As someone that plays with everything archery when it comes out, I can tell you that the drop away rests are hands down far more forgiving and easier to tune then any other fixed position rest out there.

I quit smoking, and right away I was saving $248 a month, just in smokes.....but this also meant that I wasn't buying snacks and drinks while I was in the store, so I'm saving more like $350 a month. I also put all of my spare change into an empty 5 Gallon water jug at the end of the day, and it adds up this way.
