  2. This has been bugging me the past few days because I can't figure it out... I can gurantee its not poison ivy or oak. It's a fairly common weed around hear as I've seen it plenty of times and have pulled my fair share of it...
  3. I agree if your into bowhunting, I would reccomend it also. My favorite would have to be Outdoor Life followed by Field and Stream. Both are good magazines and well worth the money!!
  4. Unless you know how thick you need the concrete its hard to say how much you will need. At 4" you'll need 3.9 yds. At 6" you'll need 5.5 yds. As for price, sounds high but it depends once again on what he has to do. If he has to rip out the old sidewalk then I'd say he's in the ballpark but is high.
  5. Verizon here and I havn't got any complaints. I do beleive that they have a deal out there right now where you can try them out for a month and if you don't like them and decide to switch they will pay your bill that month. Worth a shot...

    Slugs

Winchester has some newer slugs out that are part of their XP3 line that I might take a look for this year. They are only supposed to drop 4 inches at 150 yds and 12 inches at 200 yds which isn't bad at all for slugs. http://www.winchester.com/products/newitems/xp3slug.aspx

    Yuck!!!!

Doctor finds spiders in boy's ear ALBANY, Ore. - These guys weren't exactly Snap, Crackle and Pop. What began as a faint popping in a 9-year-old boy's ear — "like Rice Krispies" — ended up as an earache, and the doctor's diagnosis was that a pair of spiders made a home in the ear. "They were walking on my eardrums," Jesse Courtney said. One of the spiders was still alive after the doctor flushed the fourth-grader's left ear canal. His mother, Diane Courtney, said her son insisted he kept hearing a faint popping in his ear — "like Rice Krispies." Dr. David Irvine said it looked like the boy had something in his ear when he examined him. When he irrigated the ear, the first spider came out, dead. The other spider took a second dousing before it emerged, still alive. Both were about the size of a pencil eraser. Jesse was given the spiders — now both dead — as a souvenir. He has taken them to school and his mother has taken them to work. "It was real interesting, 'cause, two spiders in my ear — what next?" Jesse said.:eek:
  16. All ya gotta do is hit the print screen button on your keyboard then paste into MS Paint.
  17. How we doing guys? I was not able to get out this past weekend but I'll be out for sure this weekend.
  18. I'm gonna have to disagree with you, to an extent. When people have a moss problem they normally go right for the lime assuming that the soil is to acidic when it could be many other factors such as the soil is very moist, soil is poor nutritionally, the area is very shady or the soil is very compacted. It is also possible to overlime which in turn will tie of up nutrients essential for the lawn. Nutrient availability is influenced strongly by soil pH. A majority of plants do best with a soil pH of around 6. As the soil pH nears 7.0 nutrients such as manganese, zinc, and iron availability decreases and deficincies can become a problem. You can kill the moss with a herbicide but unless you change the conditons that cause the moss to grow its just going to come back. Your best bet would be to get a soil test done and then evaluate what needs done.
  19. I never hunted there either. Fished there several times though. As Snapper said I'd imagine it gets hit pretty hard but if you get chance to go middle of the week I wouldn't think that there would be many guys out...
  20. Chin up. It took me several years before I bagged my first. Don't be to hard on yourself, its like learning to ride a bike...you don't get it the first time...Don't give up!!
  21. This past weekend a good friend of mine died. He was in the Air Force stationed in Italy and in his free time he would go rock climbing with friends. Well Satruday he fell 90ft to his death. From what I heard it wasn't equipment malfunction, he just slipped. He was my brothers best friend growing up through High School and my parents though of him as a 3rd son. So if you would keep his family and friends in your prayers it would be appreciated. I don't understand why God let this happen but its all in his plans...:( Zach, I know your in a better place....
  22. Keep at it DH!! Our season starts this coming Saturday. I just read that this year should be pretty good due to a good hatch last year...
