  1. Moultrie is the brand name. Go to walmart.com and go into the hunting section. They'll give the details/features/specifications of the camera there. I got the SD card to use in each of them. On medium resolution (which the above pics were taken) the cards will store over 1900 pictures.
  2. Hope you don't mind. Loved it and had to copy.
  3. I bought and used three Moultrie's this year. $100 each at Wal-Mart. Great camera. Great resolution. Uses a flash at night and not infrared -but didn't seem to bother the deer. Here's some of the pictures it took.
  4. It has started. So much for wait and see. Is this what all you Sportsmen For Obama wanted?? Here is a first realization of YES WE CAN.....toward USA becoming a socialist state. This one is REALLY from h***. They didn't wait before they fired the first shot. Hitler did something like this in the late 30's. The Government knew where every legal weapon was, etc. HR 45 was introduced on January 6th, 2009, two weeks before BHO took office - knowing the writing/support was on the wall. Qualifying Firearm: any handgun or semi-automatic firearm that can accept any detachable ammunition feeding device i.e. ALL handguns AND all "black guns" including the Remington 7600 semi-automatic hunting rifle (not a black rifle) and others like it. You have to have a federal ID to purchase and same ID is required to possess all you have now even before passage of the law - no grandfather clause. They titled the bill after Blair Holt who: on the afternoon of May 10, 2007, Blair Holt, a junior at Julian High School in Chicago, was killed on a public bus riding home from school when he used his body to shield a girl who was in the line of fire after a young man boarded the bus and started shooting. Anyone opposing the bill will likely be seen as uncaring over teen deaths at the hands of firearms. They also claim a need to regulate interstate commerce (the only real control the federal government has is over interstate commerce and: © Purposes- The purposes of this Act and the amendments made by this Act are-- (1) to protect the public against the unreasonable risk of injury and death associated with the unrecorded sale or transfer of qualifying firearms to criminals and youth; unrecorded sales will continue despite licensing by law-abiding citizens (2) to ensure that owners of qualifying firearms are knowledgeable in the safe use, handling, and storage of those firearms; most firearm owners know the proper use and handling of firearms and the proper storage would include a loaded firearm behind a locked door (3) to restrict the availability of qualifying firearms to criminals, youth, and other persons prohibited by Federal law from receiving firearms; and licensing would not restrict the availability of qualifying firearms to criminals, youth, and other persons prohibited by Federal law from receiving firearms (4) to facilitate the tracing of qualifying firearms used in crime by Federal and State law enforcement agencies. any tracing would be back to the licensed/registered owner and not, necessarily the person who used it in a crime Read the bill for yourself at: http://thomas.loc.gov/cgi-bin/thomas especially: SEC. 2. FINDINGS AND PURPOSES. SEC. 3. DEFINITIONS. SEC. 101. LICENSING REQUIREMENT. SEC. 102. APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS.

Or see you hanged in Ft Smith at Judge Parker's convenience. Which will it be? Ned Pepper: I call that bold talk for a one-eyed fat man. Rooster: "Fill your hand you son-of-a-*****!!" 6. After greater thought, I have to correct this comment. I hope America and American's succeed but I hope BHO fails. If he succeeds with all his policies then America becomes a Socialist state. In 230 years we've gone from a Republic - the rule of the law as designed by our forefathers - to a democracy wherein it's the rule of government.

  8. I wasn't invited (go figure). Besides, I'm waiting by the mail box for my stimulus check. Got to buy another gun and more ammo.
  9. What we have witnessed is a rapture of the sheeple. Dictionary.com Sheeple is a term of disparagement, a portmanteau created by combining the words "sheep" and "people." It is often used to denote persons who acquiesce to authority, and thus undermine their own human individuality. The implication of sheeple is that as a collective, people believe whatever they are told, especially if told so by authority figures, without processing it to be sure that it is an accurate representation of the real world around them. The term is generally used in a political or religious sense. The singular form of the term is "sherson," however, the plural form is most often used. The liberal media has fallen over themselves promoting BHO and Americans who live on 15-second sound-bytes without investigating for themselves and making their own decisions bought it. As an example, the liberal media's numbers don't add up: "Fifty-five million people voted against Obama, so I don't know where the notion got started that 80% of the country is excited about him and can't wait for him to be president." -- Rush Limbaugh
  10. Yes. But, why did the democratic Congress spend so many days holding hearings on whose fault the housing/financial crisis was? To point blame in other directions than where it belonged - with them, Carter and Clinton because of the community re-investment act (CRA). Just as it's congress' fault social security is bankrupt or on the verge of bankruptcy. The money put in the fund is put there by the workers and their employers. It's not congress' money but they have raped and pillaged it and expanded it to those who haven't contributed to it to the point that when I retire in 10 years and have paid into it for 37 years so far - it won't be there. Can I/we sue to get it returned. No. What recourse do we have under a democracy? None. Under a democracy the rule of government is absolute. We have them telling us what's best for us and what we can do. I apologize for hijacking another thread - History 101. http://www.wimp.com/thegovernment/
  11. Blacks have forgotten the words of Martin Luther King when he said he dreamed of the day a man was judged, not by the color of his skin, but by the content of his character. Those who voted for him did so because of the color of his skin and not the content of his character. The man has no content to his character other than to be a good orator. I believe were he alive today and if he truly believed his own words (and wasn't just playing the race card like Colin Powell did - I would have supported Powell up until he showed his true color) MLK would not have supported BHO for the simple lack of character. I truly hope he succeeds. Not because I like or believe in him. But, rather if he fails - we fail. That said, I swore the day he was elected I would do it. I couldn't. I couldn't see it flying that way. However, today - as soon as he said the words "So help me God" - I did it. Not out of disrespect for my flag (I have served it since I was 17 for 8 years in the military and 30 years in law enforcement) but because I see us as a country in distress and it is approved flag protocol as a sign of distress and/or danger. I pray I am wrong.

    Not cool!!

    And the real racists/bigots are....?
  13. Bought two because they were good deals (1/2 price because guy needed money). Otherwise, I have all I need or want. My focus is now on ammo before the taxes go up. They can't legislate them away so they'll tax them (guns and ammo) out of our reach.
  14. Very enlightening. I am a Republican trapped in a democratic environment.
  15. 2 lb. ground Venison 2 tbs. olive oil 1 can (12 oz) beer 1-2 fresh jalapenos, de-veined, de-seeded and finely chopped(Sautéed, cooked jalapenos do not add that much spice-heat to chili so don’t be afraid to add the jalapenos) 2 tsp. chili powder (more to taste) 1 tbs. oregano 2 tbs. cumin 1 can (15.5 oz.) tomato sauce 1 can (15.5 oz) diced tomatoes with green chilis (Ro-tel mild, medium or hot - your taste) 3 tbsp. barbecue sauce 1 large onion, chopped 3 clove garlic, minced 1/2 cup water 3 can (15.5 oz) Chili Beans, drained In a large pot, brown meat with some olive oil - just enough to keep it from burning. About halfway thru browning add onions, garlic, jalapenos, chili powder, cumin and oregano and finish browning letting the flavors blend. Add beer, stir and cover to simmer for about 20 minutes. Add the rest of the ingredients to the pot and continue to simmer for 1 hour stirring occasionally. If it is too thick, add more beer to get desired consistency.
  16. I would have to agree with Buckee. Doe. Shallower chest bigger rump.
  17. Walk thru the woods, bedding areas, travel areas. Look for antlers. Places where they jump fences or obstacles are good.

    gross

25+ years ago we responded to a dead body. When we got there it was a mobile home., No A/C. August. Died on the crapper. Lived by himself and had been there for about a week. Flies. Maggots. Needless to say VERY odiferous. Back then I used to help the mortuary load and remove bodies. But, when limbs started coming off when we tried to move him the odor got even worse - if that was possible. Mentholatum in the nose didn't help. I still smell it when I think of it. Since then I let the mortuary people do their job and I do mine.

    Chicago, IL

Don't say that too loud - they'll figure a way to take it away and spread the wealth to states that are in deficit - blue states.
  21. 3-4 times a week year 'round.
  22. Got in an e-mail.... It must have taken a lot of digging to pull this one out!! This is a video and song about immigration that was very popular around the late 1920's, and early - 30's. Maybe this should be our Immigration National Anthem.... but that wouldn't be politically correct today would it? Well, maybe it should be played more often and loud. If It was good enough then - - - would it be good enough now! ? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ay_Z5adiMG8
