Anyone else having a HUGE problems with these boogers? I have a beautiful Purple Leaf Sand Cherry in my front yard that they are making a shambles of. I tried the pheromone traps, and while i caught a few, it only seems to have drawn even more into my yard! I am ready to try some powder, but i hate to kill any beneficial bugs. Anyone got any ideas short of a "scorched earth" policy?

According to the website there are 530 full season either sex and 767 full season anterless only permits left for White County. Should be a slam dunk to draw one or the other or both. I'll be hunting White County first Firearm season. I have hunted White County for 7 years now and have been very successful in that time.

I drew my first choice for Firearm and Muzzleloader only.

I have seen him 5 times now and have tickets to see him at the end of July at a little place called the Pageant Theatre in St. Louis. This place only seats 2500, so I'm anxious to see him in such a small venue. I am and always will be a big fan of Ted's. I met him back in 1992 at the Illinois Deer & Turkey Classic and he is as personable a guy as you would ever want to meet. If you are a fan of his music, you owe it to yourself to see him live. Ted does not disappoint!

The small piece is a bit of a toss up, perhaps a piece of a good sized arrow head? The bigger pieces look to be some sort of scrapers, perhaps for fleshing hides. Regardless, they are cool finds!

Just got an e-mail telling me there was a problem with my paypal account and that my account was frozen. There was a link to click on to provide some information about my account so i could get it "unfrozen". The problem is, i don't have a paypal account and never have had one. I suspect someone was doing a little "phishing" in hopes of stealing information. Those of you with paypal accounts beware!

Apparently, Foxnews is. I would think that with this Country at war, in the midst of an apparent recession and about to engage in the most important presidential election in most of our life times, a major media outlet like Fox would choose to run a story about "purported" pictures from the Internet, that in my mind, would be much ado about nothing even if they were real. I am just amazed that a reasoning, thinking adult would decide to run this story as news. Nothing but my $.02

Since the pictures were on the internet, they must be real. Certainly, we can all find something more important to worry about.
