  2. LOL...Neat idea Strut....Seems Rem. and Moss are the top 2 in choices...
  3. I have been in an arranged pile so to speak in my room...love to look at them, once in a while pick them up and admire their beauty...It's one of the neatest parts of God's wild creation...It's just one of those things...fascination...
  4. Typing on here one second, next thing I know sitting in complete blackness in the basement:jaw: Electric went completely out....stumbled up the stairs to where the family is...Get a flashlight but in like 2 minutes it comes back on...Good thing, I worry about the freezer full of deer meat. Maybe someone hit a pole...I dunno...Perfect spring night here so not weather related...Oh well, no worries now:eat:
  5. Wanted to hear your thoughts on any ways to make this room better, more appealing? Thoughts on getting more to join and stay involved? Besides Tim:1eye:
  6. Randy and his family are amazing people...Well respected by me...
  7. Aaahh...the green grass...the sun shining...and gobblers showing off.... Nice photos.
  8. Beautiful! Knowing what Andy's calls sound like, the birds are indeed in some trouble....
  9. I'm around.... Actually Buckee.....
  10. LOL. Thanks Buckee, I did indeed smile
  11. Nice photos. The last one, the house, is really neat!
  12. Out shed hunting from 11:30-4pm today...no sheds but stumbled upon this neat little guy...probably year before last is my guess...in great shape, pretty clean, little smelly. I think he'll be a nice skull once whitened up a bit. Spikes are, at most, 2" long... Also found a really small skull that I brought back, not sure if baby animal like raccon, or maybe skunk or something...and found a dead fox not to far from the road (thank goodness, too many of them killing turkeys and our ducks/chickens.
  13. Gobbler Gang or Limbhanger Legends is fine by me:)
  14. Went last year and met Randy O...it was a blast! Great guy... Not making it this year but tell him hello for me, Ranger or Wooly:)
  15. Aiming to be at camp again...usually involves a week of staff training up near Lake George...

    Ive got a problem

Ditto...Don't get involved...Don't let someone else's problems affect you and your work....They'll have to figure it out themselves. It's too bad though for them....
  18. I was at the Hamburg one last year...lots of fun meeting Randy:) Don't think I'll make it this year with the new job and doing 12 hour shifts. Hope all goes well for Randy!
  19. Work Friday - Sunday, 7am-7pm...Let me tell you when the sun is shining outside and all you can do is look out the window, it kills, lol:wacko: Oh well, It went fairly well, no new admissions, everything bad happened on the night shifts, lol. Although the night shift staff didn't do squat so us day shifters had to catch up on what they didn't do. I'm getting a routine down, though paperworek for admissions and what not is still scary, lol. I was a little PO'd though because when I came in Friday, the nurse manager was gone for the weekend, she never came to be to clarify my schedule for this week, so I had no schedule, so the RN I'm with said I could just come in on the days she's in, so I'm planning that, though going to call this morning to clarify. Have not gotten an ID badge yet, email account set-up..management is behind the 8 ball honestly. But it the manager doesn't try to lay a guilt trip and bring me in other days, I'll work Weds/Thurs then have Fri/Sat/Sun off....We'll see. Today, not sure what I'm doing but it'll involve sunshine:)
  20. Glad he's doing better! Poor kid. Any temp over 100 in an infant is not good....104 is dangerous...lucky he did not go into a seizure...Little ones dehydrate so quickly and with their immune system, kidneys, and everything still developing, they can't fight as well. Keep a good eye on him:) Because of the H1N1 scare this past summer, I was sending kids home with temps at 100...can't take a chance.
