Oh yes, and at least the one good thing out of it ishe said I won't need antibiotics for it...And being young, it'll be easier than doing a root canal on an older person I guess
-
If ya think of me, say a prayer, or two. Went to a diff. dentist today, for sure an abcessed tooth so for sure a root canal. This dentist is who my mom goes to, and she likes him so he'll be the one. It's gonna be close to probably $1500:jaw: Mom said she'll go halves with me but still....for one lame tooth that's not my fault. Oh well. It'll probably be like 2 appointments and this first one is at 7:50am, on one of my days off. I'd rather just get it done and taken care of then drag it out though so some prayers on that day will be appreciated.

Thanks Andy, lol. Yeah, last year I wasn't sure if my rod was going to get ripped out of my hands...that was my 5wt though...got the 7wt now...And will take my regular rod as well.

I would def. suggest seeing the Dr....You don't want to mess around with potential allergic reactions to meds....and they need to know that if you are, they can put it in your charts...That or make sure it's not something else going on besides an allergy. Let us know what you find out!

That's weird...I had no problem. Yeah, You have to email him and then he sets up the account and emails you back...

I've been shooting with a TruBall Cyclone for a few years now...TruBall makes a nice release, good customer service, besides being someone what a relgious affiliation. Anyway had been thinking for some time about picking up a second release...Wanted to have a spare in my pack "just in case". I also was finding the web strap on my cyclone over time when shooting stretched out...sometimes my finger would slip off the trigger. Well Gander Mountain yesterday had a few TruBalls marked down...I picked up a TruBall Super Hornet for $60...I really liked how short it adjusted it and the more "solid feel" in my hand compared to the web strap. So this may become the #1 and the other may go in my back as a back-up just in case...or vice versa. I can't wait to try it out.

I was just wondering, has any ever taken the ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support - class...or know anything about it? Probably something more so if you are in the healthcare field. I am taking it next Saturday at the hospital.....Kind of scared of it,lol. Going to try and review some notes from school, heard it's alot about knowing heart rhythms and what not... Anyway just wondering:)

Just wanted to share this little story. I was working all weekend, Fri.- Sun. It was a trying weekend just because of some of the patients' being rediculously demanding and not trying to do stuff for themselves - it's a rehab floor so that's kind of the goal:hammer1: Anyway even if a patient is a pain in our rear ends, I treat them all the same, I look at it as doing a job for God. So there's this one patient who's a really neat guy andI found out he's an old preacher. He wanted to go to the church service held on a nursing home floor in the building.Well I found out the guy coming in to do the service for the residents was actually an old country Dr. and also missionary who delivered my sister and I way back when, lol. My mom said I better get up there and say hi. So I took the guy up yesterday for the service, waited until the guy doing the sermon came in, he and his wife came and they recognized me! I don't think we've seen them for like 10 years or something. Anyway it was really neat and when my one patient came back down afterwards, he thanked me for taking him up there, he really enjoyed it and also thanked me for being so kind to him. I said "Well, I try to be kind to everyone, besides I'm just doing God's work." So when you have a rough day, think of the people around you who may be having a rough day as well. Even the smallest thing you do can make a difference. And even if it's not a rough day, well it may be for someone else. As one of my professors in Outdoor Rec. said you don't have to do something big to make a difference in the world, something small can make just as much of a difference:)

Oh and let's not let this get out of hand.....I'm watching you all...:-p

I actually think pink guns/bows are a good way to try and get more women involved in the outdoors. I myself would not own one but that doesn't mean it isn't a great idea. It's a personal choice.

That stinks big time...Yes, definitely get a digital camera. Although this past summer at camp I took some photos on my digital...and come to find they are not there...Don't know if someone messed with my cam and deleted them or what, but it was a bummer. Pics can tell so many memories...and you can't replace photos.

To each their own... Some like pink, some don't like pink. Actually I do have a pink shirt with butterflies...so yes I do own pink...It's the like hot pink stuff that burns my eyes :-p I do kind of want one of those pink RT AP shirt though, lol. Cute kids Ranger...Randy to,lol

Congrats! You got lots of turkeys down there!

Awesome shed! Wonder what his other side looks like....
-
Bored, huh Chris? LOL Probably eating Jelly Beans....the black kind...the ones that are free and grow in excess in the woods...
-
Yeah, I'm with ya there. Although I like the looks of the pink RT AP shirts...Anything else pink I don't care for, and when they make the camo and what not to "accentuate the female body"...Give me a break...Hunting is not about showing off the curves in the woods.... I laugh when I see the female hunters on TV hunting, all decked out in make-up....
-
Awesome photo!

I didn't even notice that taking the photo Chris....I see the acorn pile...and it looks like some deer turds thrown in there to, maybe...

We got the letter, then a person showed up at our door about the census, then the census came in the mail....

Woke up at 8am this morning, knowing the weather was gorgeous, I got ready and drove over to my little secret state land honey hole that since I first started looking, I've picked up sheds in each year since. Well I was blown away at first, the DEC had it logged!!!:jaw: Wasn't quite a clear cut, guess selective maybe but they took out this entire section of pines along with hardwoods.....So my hopes were dismal...I think they must have done it late fall or early winter by the looks of it. Any both sheds look to be last year's but in great shape and both in the same area I've found sheds. Did not find any freshies but I'll have to search again over there...Did flush several grouse....So might be a hotspot come grouse season. Oh, and neither sheds are matches to the ones I found there last year! First one, not a bite mark on it...funny little thick thing: The second one, on the edge of the clearcut, actually looked like it had been run over by a machine when they were in there...it was pressed down in a little bit...couple small chews but nothing bad:
