I know I know...when you are a college student, there is always homework to do but I am so bored and havbe no energy...What do I do? I'm about read to gag because there is some girl around with perfume just dumped on and it smells horrible, I can't breath, air air!!!! I'm stuck here until 2pm today when my sister picks me up. I could be home earlier as I don't have my 1:15pm class but oh well....I can clean the bathrooms! Woohoo! I'm really really really r e al l y r e a l l y bored,lol!

Re: NY Crossbow wishers... This topic is getting a little hot......lol! Why don't we all be glad and appreciate the fact that we are allowed to hunt in this state. I'm sure if hunting was suddenly banned, or one weapon was banned, we would all wish we hadn't wined about what we can and cannot use and wish that we had that weapon back to use. I'm greatful to be given the opportunity to hunt and thankful that God has provided us with His wonderful creation to use!

Re: A good thing If bubble wrap shows up on my door step, I'll scream,lol! Well a few of the teams are usually good so there will be some action but who knows....maybe if we are winning in a game, I can get out for a few minutes.

Well the captain of my intramural indoor soccer team said I will be goalie and be playing that for most of the games? Is this a good thing? I don't mind being goalie but there is less interaction and less being in the midst of the playing when you are goalie. Maybe the good thing is there is less a chance of injury? Maybe....lol Anyone have any advice/tips to make my goalieing more exciting,lol?Everyone says I'm a good goalie but I dunno.....and the thought of playing on a hardwood floor? Well that isn't as soft as on the ground and I tend to be a goalie who dives

Re: A Waste of Good Venison: Kidneys are delicious! we don't eat them from bucks larger than a button or spike because they are strong but from a very young deer or doe, they are delicious! Fry them up with some onions and garlic and butter...yum yum! Try it sometime too-pointer

Re: NY Crossbow wishers... The way I see it...the more weapons available to non-disabled hunters, the possible increase of more accidents. I'm not saying anyone on here would try to shoot anyone but to me, I see more and more careless and unethical hunters. Why can't we be satisfied with what we have instead of what we don't have? Disabled hunters don't have alot of choices when it comes to equipment or what not and I bet for them, being able to use a crossbow to do what they love is a major satisfaction. Just my opinion.

An awesome find anyway. I was out rabbit hunting yesterday. Went through this patch of briars with small pine trees where I foudn a shed last year. Saw a rabbit but no shot. Anyway I'm crouched in the middle of the briars, taking a break when I look ahead of me and about 25 yards away I see what looks like bone. I stand up and start moving towards it and when I see next to the bone(which were deer legs) I see part of a rack sticking up through the snow! You guys should have seen me running,lol! I was leaping through the middle of these briars! I get there and sure enough I pull out of the snow a neat little 6 point buck. It could be a 7 if I count the one small little sticker point. What is really neat is the right side of the rack is started to palmate a little, thick and flat, it is so cool! I got a photo of it at home so I'll get a photo of it on here soon. I tell you guys finding this was as good as finding a million dollars Too bad the buck didn't make it, would have been a neat buck next year.

Yes, this has to do with hunting! And I probably should have posted it in the small game forum but I put it here instead. Ok, so this is the last 3 days of small game season. I want to get a grouse and I know where one is. There is a small patch of hemlocks in the middle of some open hardwoods. I have scared this grouse out of the hemlocks, it is always roosted, but I can never get a shot. How should I approach it so that if it flies, I can get a good shot. It usually seems to fly into the open hardwoods but that is because I'm usually coming at it from a swamp into the pines. I am thinking about taking my gun and the binocs and sneaking to where I can see the pines and see if I can spot it roosted. Those darn grouse are near invisible!! Thanks for the help guys. I'm goping to get some squirrel and rabbit also before the end of hunting till turkey *sniff sniff*,lol!

The blood may have looked worse than it was due to saliva but ugh, pretty gross thought. Oh yeah, and crying is not a bad thing!

Re: No contest LOL! My butt hit first then my head. Yeah after having the game the night before, I just didn't have much to give last night along with the other girls who had played the night before.

Re: Where are the New Yorkers? I haven't gone to any meetings. I don't know what to think. I think changing the dates so soon is stupid, they should give it another year or so before actually changing them, just so more people can give their opinions. I don't like seasons starting on the first Saturday because more people will be out which will equal possibly more shooting accidents and the deer will immediately be scattered all over the place. I don't know but I don't have a good feeling about the changes. Wonder if anyone told the DEC that the wildlife is God's creation, not theirs !

We;; we lost out game last night to a score of around 70 to 20! We had 5 players, the other team had 4 and still kicked out butts, mainly due to them being ex-varsity players and all being really really tall. I took a nice crash though. I went to block a girl making a lay-up and she just crashed into me with all her body weight. I fell backwards and hit my head on the floor and got a nice bruise on my butt,lol. I am fine except for the bruise, makes sitting a little painful That was during the first half, the second half I could not block under the basket because I didn't want to get crashed into! My thinks sports aren't worth the injuries but I don't play for that, I play for the fun and enjoyment. Now onto indoor soccer.
