Since I'm bored, I thought I'd post there. By the way one of the girls on the trip took the photos then emailed me them This photo is as we start hiking out of Avalanche Pass. This is another one of Avalanche Lake except that you can know see a mountain at the end of the lake because some of the clouds parted And the best for last, this was taken from Marcy Dam.

Checkers looked really good in his day, he still does not, just needs some muscling up,lol BucknRut, whatever are you saying,lol? I was telling superguide that we are aware of horses getting caught with their halters but we haven't had a problem and that my horse is fine with his halter on but if he doesn't have a halter on, he likes to run around the pasture if I try to catch him to go for a ride:-)

Re: Photo of my horse Thanks guys:-) He is a pretty awesome horse. I've turned him out since I've owned him with a halter on. Well sometimes it is on and sometimes not but we've never had a problem, not much to get hung up on in our pasture anyway. I usually have to have his halter on if I'm going to ride or if the vet or farrier is going to come, otherwise I'll spend half the day trying to catch him in our big pasture,lol:-)

Ok, here is a photo I got in the fall of my horse. He is a flea-bitten grey Quarter Horse gelding by the name of Checkers Royal Charm, Checkers as I call him. You can do just about anything with this horse, he will stand forever while grooming! I showed him a few times before he got Navicular so now he is just a good ol' trail horse No I haven't tried hunting while on him and don't plan to. Some moron paintballed him a couple summers ago, once in the face, once on the back and again on the leg. Oh yeah as for age, we figure he is about 21/22, old as me. We aren't sure though because the guy who owned him a few owners back wouldn't give me the papers

Both sounds good....it is your choice ultimately. do a little praying....what do you love the most or what feels right? I don't know if i'm being any help but I love athletic training but I'm a recreation major right now until I finish at this college and I might go on to do athletic training.

Ok, so I finally took thetime to post these photos taken on the backpacking trip during October break to the high Peaks region of the Adirondacks! Whenever I look at these photos, I think how amazingly wonderful and mysterious God is! This one is on our way through Avalanche Pass. This is a big formation on the side of a mountain. This is where our hike led us, to Avalanche Lake in the middle of nowhere! Really awesome in person...reminds me of that scene in the first Lord of the Rings movie. Here is the entire group from college that went on the trip. I'm to the far left in the blue rain coat by the guy in the green rain coat. We stopped to take in this view as we left the High Peaks. Really really awesome....God is great!

Well guys....some of you know how the college ditched my original athletic training major after the head trainer and program director left. Well I got news from a girl in my one class that one of the recreation professors, sn awesome person, is being let go! Enrollment is down in the recreation department so they have to make cuts so they are going to cut her! I love this professor, she makes everything easy and fun and she makes you want to participate. With her leaving, the Therapeutic rec major might get ditched, who knows(I'm outdoor rec so I think I'm safe). Hopefully though the Lord has some plans for her and I'm wondering what He has planned for me? The other day I emailed another college, The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford about their athletic training program and I'm getting some information sent about it. With about a year left at this college, I need to decide what to do...decisions can be so tough but I believe the Lord has given me talent in the area of athletic training so who knows....Anyway just wanted to vent a little...another awesome professor who won't be here next year

Re: Shed hunting teams??? The thing is, how is this not excluding small sheds? I don't find huge sheds but I want my sheds to count in my team's score? Maybe have something like a limit to the number of sheds each person in a team can enter or have some type of point system like 1 point for every tine over 2 inches or something.
