but no sheds! On Wednesday I went out looking for sheds and found nothing. Yesterday I went looking in some promising areas around my college and all I found were the old remains of a turkey and the remains of 2 does for this past fall/winter....Where are all the sheds? I think they are "falling up" instead of down,lol

APRIL FOOL'S!! That thing about me taking a break on here....yeah right! I really do have alot of work but like I'd not come on here, it is way to much a part of my life now,lol! Sorry for those of you who believed me...it was the best I could do,lol!

With all the homework I am going to be having due in the next couple weeks and final exams the end of April, I think I need to take a little time off from here, just so I can get more work done. I'll be back on again when turkey season starts which is May 1. Think you all can stay calm until then? I really don't want to leave but I need to in order to get all this homework done.Feel free to email me and I look forward to getting back on here once all this work is done. Thanks to everyone here and keep this board the same great board while I'm gone!

Have turkey fever?! I'm seeing alot of people on here are starting their seasons but I still have about 31 days to go but I can't wait! I even had a dream last night of seeing a bunch of toms strutting! Later I'm going to go out scouting but man oh man, I wish school would end and turkey season would begin!

Re: whats better Mouth calls are harder to master than box calls but slate calls and box calls are straight forward and user friendly! Motuh calls though work great when the gobbler is coming in close and you need to hold your gun up.

This is Easter break week but I'm working custodial at my college so not very much of a break! I spend all day yesterday cleaning bathrooms in a dorm! Aaahhhhh Besides working, I have homework on my head because I have a few papers due next week when school starts back up...where does the fun come in!?

Re: how do you locate sheds? Usually trails, bedding areas, and fields are good places to look. Basically look where the deer spend the winter and take some binoculars with you.

Re: Neighbors dog poop in my lawn....busted !!! Put it in a brown bag and stick it in the neighbor's mailbox! My mom thought up that idea when our neighbor's dogs did it, we just never did the idea,lol!

Re: In my chest I'm not coughing up very much from my chest but because I have to breath through my mouth, the outside air makes my throat feel like a hot poker was stuck on it! I think it probably got irritated from all the stuff I coughed up yesterday in order to avoid bronchitis. My professor has it now though, so many people are sick!

Re: need guys\' opinions Playing an instrument does not make a boy a girly guy,lol. We'eve talked about this in my recreation classes about how in society, females are typically raised to do the traditional girl things, males to do the traditional boy thing. No offense but your husband sounds like he is one of those that thinks guys shouldn't do any things but what guys typically do, meaning he wants to avoid non-traditional roles. If your son wants to play an instrument, go for it and support him! Good luck!

Re: What Does Your Fishing License Cost? A fishing license in NY is around $16 to catch anything. I usually get it though in a Sportsman License which has my small and big game license and the fishing for around $40 or $50 then my turkey tags for $5.

This stupid cold has moved into my chest now.. and it sucks! I can't cough because it makes my throat hurt and my chest hurt. I hope it isn't bronchitis but it might be some. Does anyone have any good remedies? I've just been taking vitamins, garlic, and drinking. I hope my sister doesn't get this because when she gets sick it gets to her lungs easily and one time she had to get meds and stuff. I bet this is that cold that a month ago my mom heard that it was viral and people had these horrible coughs and medication did nothing. Stay healthy people

Re: Easter surprise lOL @ some of you guys! My sister just got a parakeet also today, except this is her 6th parakeet and I'm only on number 4. My first one got eaten by a cat and the next two died of old age. My sister's all died frm cat attacks,lol!
