Re: sheds in plots i have found lots of sheds in the plots--but i find even more in the staging areas just inside the cover of the plot. I think the big bucks go to staging areas and wait until darkness to go feeding---majority of my sheds are found within 100yards of a plot on a major trail or staging area. todd

Re: what size food plat I've planted 2 acre plots before with my ATV--took a while but got it done. Like William stated I guess it depends on your total acreage and deer population. It also depends on what you want to plant. During the warm season plantings of peas and beans require a larger area due to heavy browsing. good luck with your plot todd

Re: Question about Shot Plot I too will have a few plants (turnips) that will survive the winter--but 95% of them die. I wouldn't worry about discing or spraying. In my experience when there is little natural forage available the turnips will get eaten--when there is still forage available the turnips don't get eaten and rot.
