  1. I bought a non resident license for Md this year I have been out twice already, had them in range, just too much brush. I'll get them tomorrow night hopefully.
  2. grinder(cabelas are nice) and smoker(bradley). You can get a stuffer as well, or just stuff with the grinder. Really not that hard to make good products once someone shows you how. I highly recommend the sausage making dvds bass pro sells.
  3. slick tricks are the best head out there imo
  4. i'm from PA north of york and am thinking about getting a license for this year. I used to in the past but it's been about 3 or 4 years. Hopefully I can find a place to hunt with some deer and I'll be down
  5. I have about a doz lock ons and ladders and 1 climber. I have all my stands set up b/c it would be impossible to get in queit everytime with a climber thick as can be and a long walk. I use my climber on scouting trips or when I see deer in using a new trail so I make a move with the climber.
  6. congrats, I almost bought a switchback a few years ago then I came to my senses
  7. I sure hope they are good to cost about 15$ per head.
  8. best price around here I've found is 12$ for 100lbs
  9. for field tips I still have an original block from like 7 years ago, I take good care of it and this year I got a redhead bag from bps surprisingly it stops arrows fast holds up well and was a very good price, I would highly recommend to anyone. As far as 3d's I can't find one that I like except for the really expensive rhineharts of mackenzies. All the backyard models have that stupid layered rectangle zone and when shooting at a 3d I like to pick a spot not aim for the layered insert section. I might pick up that riverbottom model from bps looks like it's on sale for 89
  10. nice season cove, looks like you guys had a blast. Congrats on some great birds and good footage. Looks like you didn't get too much working done during turkey season LOL
  11. nicely done congrats. You finally found him without the hen.
  12. I think Id give him a rest and go find one willing to play. Don't you have access to some nice private land your boss owns?
  13. Grand C calls the cuttin cameron is the one I like the best. Google Grand C calls, also the woodhaven red wasp is not bad either. Never liked the ones your talking about either.
  14. tough call but ones things for sure your not calling him from that hen. Possibly get in tight again and sit in the direction he flys down and then travels. Maybe stick a hen and jake decoy out and just hope he walks by to check things out. Other then something like that i have no clue, he's not going to leave that hen I doubt.
  15. id only take a hen decoy and setup close to him same level if possible. Might be a quick morning for you, but like they say roosted aint roasted. Goodluck i'll be looking for the victory pics.
  16. been there done that. Go hunting and get a bird. If nothing is happening by like 10 or so go home and study, or do like me and just keep hunting and do the school stuff all night.
  17. bumped birds, heard lots of birds, had birds close but they wouldn't come close enough, heard some shots too. Got windy around 10 too, but I stayed until 12 and never heard another. Not a bad 1st day if my hearing was better and could pinpoint the birds gobbling on the roost probably would have been a quick morning.
