The thing is that the government did not anticipate a shortage, they caused it along with all the other morons that are buying rounds they don't even need. If everyone hadn't went crazy and bought ungodly amounts there wouldn't be a shortage. There are now .223 and .308 rounds a plenty in our local walmart. I just wanted to say thanks to all the morons for forceing me to buy a 22-250 because I love it and am glad I got it instead of the .223. Sorry if I offended you LETMGROW. LMBO

You can't find .223 or handgun ammo around to save your life. You can't just go out a buy a gun around here because all of the morons buying the ammo like they're gonna stop makeing it. I had to go out and find ammo and then buy a gun to match the ammo that I found. Which ended up being a 22-250. My son and I would liked to of had a .223 but why buy something you can't shoot. They had 3, 40 round boxes of ammo where I bought the gun and I only got 2 so someone else hopefully that needed them would get some. Just like to say thanks to all the morons out there that are buying all the ammo they don't need!!!!!!!!!!! .223 REALLY!!!!!! I could understand buying a 50BMG and hoarding ammo but .223 I don't think that people know that the ZOMBIE APOCOLYPSE isn't real!!!!! But if it is and comes about then shame on me but until then SHAME ON YOU!!!!!!!!:hammer1:

Sorry I haven't been on in a while guys. Been camping alot with the son. Been seeing some good bucks just not in bow range and when gun started they weren't around. The deer movement has picked last couple of days and this weekend is the last for our gun season then it's back to stick and string.Congratulations to those who have scored and good luck to those who haven't!!!!!!!!!

Well it got hot quick. Haven't been out since the end of May. Can't wait till it starts cooling off though. Kill some squirels and do some deer scouting.

So far we have aquired a few tasty squirels. Have to clean them at the truck and put them on ice but it's worth it. They are actualluy easier to clean when you do it right after you kill them.

Well I bought my son a new Rem. 597 for his birthday toomarrow, May 15th, (to replace his fully camo ruger 10/22 that got stolen, sorry scumbags !!!). Which happens to be opening day of squirel season here in Okieland.:gun2::gun2: I sighted it in Saturday and I mean that thing will shoot. Sure wish they made them like that when I was a kid, Heck it doesn't even have iron sights, scope only. Just the way I like it, I mean he likes it !!!! Hope to have some picks up after this weekend !!!!

Well our season ended with a close call, my son and I almost had a bird on the last day and ended up with a big fat cyote. The weather was wrong every weekend I got to hunt and was perfect durring the week. I heard of people killing birds every week, " Ya my uncle got one yesterday!!!!" made me sick. Sorry I couldn't contribute guys, better luck next year. I'm takeng some vacation next year !!!!! Congrat on all the great birds guys !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Awesome birds guys !!!!!!! So far ever time I get out the temps drop about 30 degrees and the birds shut up. Gonna get out this weekend and hunt hard, supposed to by nice atleast 2 days I think. Still have 2 more weekends !!!!!!

Ya my son and I saw that the other day and thought the same thing. Idiots like that give us good 'ol boys a bad rep !!!!!!!!!

What is the deal with all these new hunting shows that want to play lthier music than the guys who are talking. I was watching some shows I had recorded this morning while it was raining and 1/2 of them you couldn't even hear what the hunters were saying. This doesn't happen on Realtree or Primos or HS but some of the other guys really need to watch thier own shows once in a while cause I won't anymore. Heck even Uncle Ted turns off the music when he or the hunters talk, "YOU GOT TO BE KIDDING ME !!!!!!"
