I have an encore in .50 cal muzzleloader and plan on getting a rifle barrell for it in 300 win. pretty so (if i don't get it for x-mas ) ....my question is...i know they sell different forends for the rifle barrells....but do you actually have to change em? or are they just so you don't have that big hole in the front for you muzzleloader ramrod?

(Oklahoma Harvest Count) here in m,ichigan the harvest count is down also....they just had an article in the newspaper yesterday about it.....i think its due to bad (rain, warm) weather and alot of farmers were late to cutting the corn...i still see alot of corn fileds that haven't been cut! oh well, hopefully it makes for a great season next year. or a good late bow season

LOL, nice....in the town i grew up in there are 2 high traffic roads that come to a point and merge into one raod...on that point there is a local newspaper place and they had a cement or metal bear...not sire what it was made of...it stood about 8 or 9 feet tall.....that thing was stolen more times than i can remember.....the last time it was stolen it was found with the feet chopped off....to this day it still has no feet...

[/ QUOTE ] i was having trouble deciding on the omega and the encore....but when i finally had a chance to sholder both of them...i had no doubt it was the Encore that i wanted. i was with one of my cousins at gander mountain one day and had him shoulder the Encore...needless to say...He has one ordered as we speak......another great thing is the shotgun and rifle barrels you can get for it...i also thought the encore was a bit lighter than the omega.

Re: Powerbelts and T/CEncore well it seems you all are having some success with a 295 PB and 100 gr. pellets combo...so i went and picked up some today ....figured i would load it up real quick to see how tough they were to load...WOW, they are 10 times easier to load than the shockwaves are...

Re: Peep sights.. i used to have one on my old bow but i got rid of it because the rubber tube kept coming off of where it connects to the peep....i am thinkin maybe i just didn't have enough slack in between the peep and where it connects on the cable

i once again am sick of my peep sight...its a shurz, one where it divides the string into 2 sections...i had the one that divided the string into 3 sections but it kept twisting and part of the string would get in my way...and now the one i have is moving....i looked at it the other day and it was a little crooked and i noticed it could move it with my fingers. what do you guys use for peep sights? i am thinkin about goin with something with a rubber tube don't really want to but it seems like the only way i am gunna get my peep to straighten out every time...thanks in advance

How well do the powerbelts shoot out of the encore? what grain do you use and how many grains of powder or pellets?
