Re: Meat Question I too use the extra refrigerator. I like to age the meat for a week before freezing. You have to cover it or it will dry out and don't negect to drain the blood every other day. Sounds like your going to be late for work.

Their answer was you can shoot any size lead shot through any of their tubes designed for lead. I did not like the patterns though (.660) prefering my improved modified for targets at 30+ yards. I just got more center shots when I opened it up. If you are serious go with the #4's, if you just have some 00 buck laying around well then if nothing else at least Mr. Coyote will know someone's in there.

A left handed passer will typically roll to the left when flushed from the pocket. Comments?

Does it have round wheels? Never heard of the lightening but I have a Black Panther that I bought new in the late 80's, supposedly that last bow Fred Bear worked on and brought to market. Stuck my first P&Y with it, so round wheels do work. Welcome to the forum! You've come to the right place. Someone should know something. And you've come to the right sport, bow hunting is way better than gun hunting. IMO

Re: you first deer ....let\'s hear the story Not too long after I got out of the Army a friend offered to take me Deer hunting with him. I said sure. He showed me which woods to sit in and offered advice on always facing in to the wind as you will not see Deer behind you. After about an hour I heard something behind me, you guessed it, Deer. I tried real hard to get turned around that tree and aim my shotgun that way without spooking them, but it never happened. Lesson #1. About another hour goes by and here comes two Deer. A doe and a little one, so I pulls up and shoots the bigger one, dropping her. For the next ten minutes the little one kept running back and forth going baaaahhh baaaahhh. Felt kinda bad about that for awhile.

Re: Fencelines Sure you'd be legal, right up until the time you shoot at a deer walking down the edge of that corn. Who you kiddn? Pardon my skepticism, but this year I have found 3 stands of people doing just that. Right handed shooters and the left side of their treestand faces this way. One guy blatantly trimmed brush out of his way so he could shoot on the trail that I maintain. I cut off a piece of my tow rope and pulled two limbs across his shooting lane then tied them together. I hope he morning hunts it cause he's in for a surprise when the sun comes up! I know who it is so when I see him I'm going to ask him if he thought that was rude of me. I know I think he's rude.

Re: How far will bucks travel at night? I believe a buck's home range is roughly 4 sq miles, a doe's is much smaller. Do you know where the doe's bed? If you do I would pick a spot near there. Good Luck!

Had a small 10 pt. (115”) chase a Doe with her fawn right past my stand tonight, gave a little grunt as he passed. Things are starting to heat up. Here we go! Also, drew a response on the turkey call but nothing showed up. Duck huntin in the morning and Deer and Turkey in the afternoon, does it get any better than this?
