If they're the same price you might as well go with Winners Choice. If you want to find a good quality string at a good price, try H&M bowstrings.

Will consider other brands than I have listed. If you want to buy make me an offer and I'll consider it. My soon to be brother in law would like a Hoyt Razortec. You could trade for my bow and I could sell the Razortec to him.

I had a huge buck cross the road in front of me last week. He already had a good sized rack on him. I'm not sure who owns the land he was on but I might try to find out by the time deer season comes around. He was just outside the city limits of our small town.

I bought a fanny pack from turkeygirl. Everything went great.

I shoot blazers with helical through a whisker biscuit and haven't noticed any problem. A lot of broadheads will fly well with straight fletch anyway. So I say just try it one step at a time instead of changing everything all at once.

My season is over and I never even saw a bird. Heard a bunch but they were all henned up. The two weeks of real cold weather just before the season really seemed to mess things up. My brother ended up getting one on the very last day of the season. It was a nice bird. 10" beard 1&3/16" spurs and 23 pounds.

I'm submitting this for dodgeman1. -
My daughter and niece made a comment that surprised me. They said that it was not that big of a deal and that she was going to hear a lot worse things in the real world (school).

Went out Monday for first day of the season. The weather was still a little cool but getting better after this recent cold snap. There were all kinds of birds gobbling on the roost but when they hit the ground only one or two gobbled even a little. One was pretty vocal very early and then just quit. He may have hit a fence. The other one gobbled about four times in a three hour period, hung up on a fence, and then a dog chased him away. I'll be back out Saturday and Sunday.

I do not like the one I own. Then again I think it only cost $30 and came with free binoculars.

Bite your tongue. We don't need any more restrictions than we already have. If you hunt public land you may have a different point of view than me. I don't know since I only hunt private land.

Re: 223 ammo Match grade bullets do not expand. They are not good for hunting. I have seen a deer killed with a 64gr Winchester power point (soft point). It did not leave an exit wound but the deer didn't go far. I was surprised how well it worked actually. I myself probably wouldn't use less than a .270 , especially on big deer, but as long as you understand and stay within a rounds limitations it can be effective.

Re: Dinner, Lunch, Supper? Breakfast Dinner Supper The only time I ever called it lunch was when I was still in school.

Re: TURKEY TEAM #1 I won't object. I guess we have a team name then.

Re: THE BOY FINALLY GOT HIS BOW !!!!!!!! Sorry. I'm not really trying to rain on your parade. It's better to be too short than too long. I just saw that it looked like the string isn't touching his nose and then I thought IF it was then his elbow would REALLY be bent a lot. Some bend is fine for just the reason you stated. Congrats on the new bow. It looks very nice. Hope he enjoys it.

Re: THE BOY FINALLY GOT HIS BOW !!!!!!!! How fast is he growing? His draw length is already about an inch too short. The string isn't touching his nose and his bow arm is bent too much.

Re: The All New Chevy Silverado -- Pics It's funny seeing a 200 on the speedometer.

Re: TURKEY TEAM #1 Present! I'm not going to try suggesting names, I suck at it. Good luck everybody.

Re: When fletching arrows... I know this sounds wierd but a potato peeler works awesome for removing fletching and glue. Best thing is it will not gouge the arrow.

Re: ILLINOIS hunters..has anyone heard about the n [ QUOTE ] IL hunters, how many times have you seen the buck of a lifetime standing at 350 yards, and you just can't take the shot?????? BOOOOOOOOOO RIFLES IN IL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! [/ QUOTE ] 350 yards is too far for all but a very very few people to be shooting. I don't know why you people think that just because you have a rifle with a scope means you can shoot at anything you can see. Most people can't hit a deer with a scoped rifle at more than 150 yards in a hunting situation. Just because you can shoot well on the shooting bench doesn't mean you can in the woods.

Re: ILLINOIS hunters..has anyone heard about the n [ QUOTE ] not that i wouldnt enjoy one rifle hunt a year......its FAR too dangerous and it would darastically cut down on herd numbers around here. where i live its all flat land and farm fields.....deer would NOT stand a chance against a 30.06 or a .270 JMO [/ QUOTE ] Missouri has a rifle season and has very similar topography. Yet there are still more than enough deer in Missouri and no more dangerous than in Illinois. I can see the people's points who say it might not work in the northern part of the state. Also they are probably right that it would be too late in the year.

Re: ILLINOIS hunters..has anyone heard about the n Rifles are not more dangerous than shotguns, especially with the newer shotgun slugs. Rifle bullets migfht travel a little farther but not that much, and either way you should know for sure that the direction your bullet is going is safe. Most people can't shoot a rifle in hunting conditions accurately much past 100-150 yards anyway. If you actually had much experience with rifles you would already know all this.

Re: Anna Nicole Smith is DEAD I happened to catch a bit of a few interviews she did recently while I was flipping through the channels. You could tell she was on drugs. She was talking very slowly and slurring her words. They may have been "prescribed drugs" but even those can kill you.
