I've bought a few times from there. Haven't had any trouble. One thing I would keep in mind is that pictures do not pick up detail real well so most things don't look quite as good in person as they do in pictures. Usually it's just minor stuff though.
I know a guy that shot a deer in the back of the head with his bow on purpose. It was all he could see. He hit where he was aiming but the deer was still not found. He HIT where he was aiming but didn't recover the deer. You call that a miss?
I bet that if you took your Mathews and one of those hard drawing bows and shot them through a chronograph, and turned down the hard drawing bow until they shot the same arrow the same speed they would feel pretty similar.
That's probably why I'm not married and never will be. I just can't say that I'm wrong when I know I'm right. It runs in the family, on both sides, and so does stubbornness so it won't change.
Do you know if these still use the metal washer between the blades and arrow? I hate having just that thin little piece of metal keeping the end of my arrow from getting messed up.
It doesn't really matter that they aren't the same diameter. If it really bothers you they sell broadhead adapter rings that taper down from the arrow to the broadhead but they are mostly for looks in my opinion.
He is a main frame ten with three stickers below the brow tines. This is the first rack I've ever measured so I'm not sure how close I am but I got 166 & 2/8 for a gross score.
If you call it, "who's your sign", instead of "Here's your sign", like it's supposed to be, you might be a redneck. Just kidding.
I made this one up. If you BBQ and get tetanus from the food, you might be a redneck.
I've used the 130gr (in my .270 Browning BAR) on deer and they are great. I was disappointed when I found out they were going to quit making them. I think they got rid of them so they wouldn't be competing with sales of their new XP3 bullets.
My niece shot a deer last year with a .223 and it did a pretty good job. It didn't make an exit hole but the buck didn't go very far. She used Winchester 64gr Power Points. 55gr seems too light to me.
dodgeman1 is my brother. He has a doe that I put up pictures for him in the entry thread. He just doesn't get on the computer much since he has six kids and two are two and one year old.
Seems there are quite a few here in North East Missouri. That's good for me because acorns seem to be what draw the deer off the neighbors property once the crops are out.
