Nice deer. I'm leaving in about 10 minutes to head out to my lease between Sweetwater and Snyder. Hunted the first 8 days of rifle season, saw about 20 bucks, but no grandes. Biggest were 2 different 10 points, both about 130. Hope there's still a little bit of rutting going on this weekend. See ya'...

Re: Should the government use sports as advertisem Much like the NAACP, most labor unions, and almost all of academia, the ACLU has drifted so far from its origins that I doubt if the founders would even recognize it today. All of these organizations have become extremely politicized and all are pushing a left wing agenda with the acquisition of power as their ultimate goal. AND all the while denying that they are leftist OR trying to acquire power!!!

Re: Where\'s the media coverage for this? BTW - If I were to predict the most likely candidate for a country to attack us or declare war on us, I'd say the European Union is at the top of my list. It will be interesting to see which way the British will go in that one, but I think they'll side with us.

Re: What team is currently winning?? Don't think its very accurate yet. I know I've got a small mule deer I shot about 3 weeks ago that I haven't posted yet. I probably won't put anything up until I'm finished hunting and then I'll just post the biggest one.

Re: Where\'s the media coverage for this? I don't that any other "country" will dare attack us openly, at least not while we have a person of strong will and solid convictions in the Whitehouse. They know full well that we could and would quickly defeat the military and overthrow any government of any country that tried. The main threat we face is from those lawless and borderless organizations like al-Qeada that have no country to lose. At the same time, we must also insure that al-Qeada and the other terrorist organizations don't align themselves with an established country for funding and support like they did in Afghanistan and were attempting to do in Iraq.

Wait until late winter or early spring, find a south or southeast facing rock bluff with lots of cracks and crevices, then get a garden sprayer and fill it with gas. Spray the gas into the cracks then step back. (BTW - no smoking or any other type of flame or spark). You can also substitute diesel, but I think gas works better. As the snakes come out, most snake hunters grab them with a long pair of tongs and stuff them into sacks or trash cans. If you decide to skin one, get ready to hold your nose, they stink plenty bad. But the meat is surprisingly tasty when deep fried.

Re: How many atv wrecks? Several. The worst was one night in January when I ended up underneath a Honda 4x4 under about 3 feet of icy water. I got out just as my buddy pulled up. My first words were "Build a fire!"

Heard about this on Limbaugh today. I just can't imagine how the left gets away with such blatantly racist remarks? These 3 cartoons imply that Dr. Condoleeza Rice is nothing but a dumb <insert n-word here> that the President has trotted out as a token. I happen to have a totally different regard for Dr. Rice. I believe she's a true talent and will be a brilliant Sec. of State. If some conservative cartoonist had dared publish something depicting Rev. Jesse Jackson or Rev. Al Sharpton or any other black liberal in this manner, their carrers wouldn't last 48 hours. But of course that wouldn't happen anyway since conservatives are the truly color blind political ideology, unlike liberalism which is largely based on racial stereotyping. The left's hypocrisy knows no bounds.
