Congrats and tell your boys the same! My girlfriend and I didnt get drawn for antelope this year. We put in for area 404 and 450. My dad and brother each got tags but my dad accidentally filled out area 404 instead of 450. None of us have ever hunted in 404 since its east of Choteau, but we have hunted alot in 450.

you are right...cant go wrong with a remington 700 or any other model....but you can absolutely go wrong with the 770.

The store i work for has Factory Winchester ammo with 150 gr softpoints but they are $43 a box. The round just intrigued me and im goin to do alot of research on it. It would just be cool to have a rifle that not many people have.

Does anyone know anything about this cartridge? I was just reading about it at work today and it sounds like a neat one. Almost identical ballistics as a 280 but in short action. It just sparked my interest and i was wondering if anyone has one, knows anything about them, and if any Rifle manufactures chamber rifles in them now. I couldnt find anything in our catalogs about a company producing any but i really really want one now.

If you are looking for a tactical AR i would go with Smith & Wesson. They seem to be set up with all the rails and such. At work we have Remington, S&W, Armalite, DPMS, and Bush Master. Every M&P-15 we have is set up with full rails and everything you would need to make it as Tactical as you want. Everything else is just a plain old AR. Or take a look at the new one Ruger came out with. I dont know much about it but it sounds like a nice rifle.

Well guys....Only a week till my girlfriend and I leave for hunting Camp. Rifle season opens next Sunday and i am beyond pumped. That will help me get the motivation to get my 3 school projects done before we leave! Weather is supposed to be High 40s to Low 50s and sunny! Not the best weather for animal movement but it will keep my girlfriend from freezing to death on her first day hunting. She went with me a couple times last year but this is the first year she has her own tags in her pocket! Did i already mention i am PUMPED!!!!!!????

He is a funny guy. I would give just about anything to get that chance to guide with them again. Darren was goin to get my hat signed by Michael Waddell this september while he was hunting with him but he left town before i could get my hat to him.

Chessies are known to be a one man dog. They supposedly get protective around little kids and such. That might be something to check into.

Was Darren's last name Beatle? If so, I know him really well. I had a chance to help them guide up there but didnt find out about it until it was too late because my mom forgot to tell me. I have shot alot of trap with him in the Choteau Teton County Trap league and he was my BB Gun coach a long time ago.

I came up with 154 or 156". cant remember for sure. I might have scored him wrong too but oh well.

I would say come on with us! but i think last year was the last time we will be goin back there on horses. Its just too hard on my grandpa. Having to borrow horses, pack everything up, get everything back there, then get it all out. Since i shot my cow and one guy had to go early and took two of his mules with him, my grandpa had to go back in there with one of his buddies and get the tent and other stuff out. Riding 22 miles one way, 4 times in two weeks was just to hard on him and said we wont be goin that far anymore. But i dont blame him. I would have helped him get the rest of the stuff out but i got sicker than i have ever been the last day we were there and stayed that way for the next two weeks. But who knows. Maybe he will change his mine some day!

They own 4000 acres. About 75 percent of it is like you see in the pics with all the trees. The rest is big open hill sides perfect for the elk and big bucks to come out for a bite to eat and get a little lead blister. lol. I havent set out any trail cameras though. That land is about 5 hours from where i live now. I havent been there since the end of May. We did see a really nice bull elk, a ton of cows, and two whitetail and mule deer bucks that we well on their way in the horn growth department and they both looked like they would be good bucks this fall. Cant wait to go!

im not sure how much he weighs now. We havent been to the vet since he got his last shots about a month ago and i think he weighed 35lbs or something like that. he has gained alot of weight though. I noticed that last night when i coudlnt move him off my legs when he was sleeping in my bed lol

well from the sounds of the symptoms you are talking about im sure my girlfriend has it now. She wouldnt even get out of bed when i stopped by her house yesterday morning to see how she was feeling. Said her whole body was aching really bad. She had a horrible headache yesterday but she said it let up a litle bit today. She has a sore throat too.
