First, visit your local pro shop, try out some bows,,since you might want to upgrade in future if you like the sport, and I'm sure you will,, try not to blow a lot of cash. Once you have the bow, visit the range and practice, practice. Next step is how to hunt, but that depends on where you plan to first start bowhunting, we got a bunch of Ohio boyz here that give you better advice on that..
