  1. Re: Found a nice spot, but need advice!!! Thanks all!! I really appreciate the advice!!! I'm working my tail off to make sure I get at least one decent bowhunt this year. As soon the snow melts and it warms up a tad, I'll go back and clean up the spot better,, in the meantime, I need to get my behind to the pro shop range and start shooting!!! Thanks again !!!
  2. Re: Bowhunter numbers I feel, again my opinion, grain of salt etc etc,,, , if the the number of hunters did for some reason jump almost geometrically, tension among hunters would grow, especially those who hunt on public land. (Like me) There is only so much space. Then there are those tree-stand stealing, spot swiping, walk by you singing and spitting, hunters that add even more tension to the pot. I say stronger rules and penalties toward those who violate hunting ethics may control the growth. How do we enforce these rules, is another question,, We can only hope for the best,,
  3. Well, I did some early scouting this weekend. I found me a beautiful spot, lots tracks and droppings, must have seen three deer paths. It's on the face of hill, a couple of fallen trees and some wild bush all criss-crossed form a natural blind you might say. It's incredible!! My thing is I'm concerned some overly anxious hunter might see me moving around a little in all that brush from behind me and take a shot. I was thinking of hanging a small orange flag, sort of a marker, but how will it effect deer? Other concerns is black bear,, but I'll get me some repellant just in case.. any tips guys/gals,, greatly appreciated,, Thanks Rayzor
  4. Just passing someinfo. I just got my copy of Bowhunting World. It has a great article on what they list as 2005 Hottest news bows and a very detailed article on the Mathews Outback. No brand bashing, just saying it's a article. Also good turkey hunting tips.. Rayzor

  25. Re: Storage Question??? Unfortunately I don't have the resources or time to shoot year round, but if I did I'd be at it every chance I got. I hang mine on a wall hook, poundage turned back three turns on each limb, I also make sure to give them a once over every other weekend, making sure strings are waxed.
