Re: Carl Edwards- Right or Wrong ? Well, Carl's response was not he best way to handle it. However, He got screwed BIG TIME. He broke no rules. The rules say you can't ADVANCE a position below the yellow line. Carl LOST positions. Anyway, he should have jsut came on in and then let his case be heard in the yellow trailer. NASCAR has go to do something or this whole mess is gonna get out of control.

Re: Frustrated With Poor Hunters! You done the right thing. I'd have done the same. I would have in Ohio last week if I had gotten the chance. I saw a dandy 6 point in a cornfield around noon and I thought it was odd. As he turned to run I saw something weird so I grabbed my binoculars and took a better look. It was an arrow sticking about 12 inches out of his left side. The shot had hit him right in front of the hams and just under the backbone. With the arrow hitting there I figured it either had to have angled even further back into a hip joint or was a very low poundage bow. That arrow should have sailed right through that area of the gut. I watched him head into a thicket and figured he would bed down there. I set up that afternoon on the backside of the thicket with intentions of taking that buck if I saw him again. Dont know if he survived or not. I never saw him again.

Re: Qualifying on Saturdays...Happy Hour Gone in \'05 It's fine with me. All its gonna do is eliminate these super qualifying setups. But, dont think for a minute its about helping the teams. Go back and read closely the emphasis placed on "making a stronger Saturday ticket". This is about ticket sales and track owners making money. Nothing more.

OK folks here is a question. Now that the season is over and Busch has well "won" the cup. What is the deal with all the fuss over driver language? Jr. loses 25 points for cussing on the air but the networks take great pleasure in "listening in" on team radio communications. Now I don't know about ya'll but I have heard a whole lot worse stuff knowingly broadcast by FOX and NBC from these radios. True it isn't a TV interview in victory lane but still. If NASCAR wants a squeakey clean image then keep Benny Parsons' and Alan Bestwick's ears out of the cars!

Re: Anyone But Gordon! I'm glad to know that I'm not the only one that thinks this new points system is a joke. Busch didn't earn it and he doesn't deserve it. This years championship is a ten race championship not a season championship. Ive called this thing a crock since Loudon when Busch shot from 7th all the way to the top. How does somebody with a season record like Busch manage to win the cup? They dont! Not under a system like we used to have. True Gordon would have won #5 but at least it would have been based on 36 races worth of performance not 10 races worth of luck. The other thing is I have not found an address or e-mail link to contact NASCAR and let them know what I think of this new joke. Kinda strikes me like they are scared to know what the general race fan thinks. All this thing is, is a new cash cow designed for money and TV ratings. I used to think that NASCAR would never sell out to corporate greed. Well, guess I was wrong.
