Gosh I wish our season was in now. I was cutting grass in the back yard when I look out in the field and noticed a deer in my food plot. I ran back to the house to get the Nikons and it was Mr. Ed (the 23"+ 9pt I have a pile of pics of) with 3 of his buddies. They were grazing in the plot for a while until I couldn't see in the dark anymore. It is cool that they are using the plot now. I swear Mr. Ed is one wide son of a gun! He had either the shooter 8pt or 7pt with him... it was too dark to tell at that range. If I had been in my stand I would of had a 20-25 yard shot. I hope they keep this up for another 2 1/2 weeks!!!

Our bow season starts Oct. 3rd and ends Jan 2nd. Gun season (including muzzleloader) is from Oct. 31st - Jan 2nd. Here are a few pics of some deer behind my house. The food plots are starting to come up so I'm hoping all these deer will stick around for the season!!!

What up team? I'm pretty excited for the season to start. I'm hunting a new property this year that has great potential. I've been seeing a bunch of good bucks behind my house this year and I'm going to be hunting in Pike and Adams Co., Ill. in late Oct. or early Nov. I'm pumped!!!

Cardinals/Yankees sounds good to me but the outcome will be reversed!

I agree with Peterson and Turner you will do well. I dominated a league last year with Turner, D. Williams, and Portis. (P. Manning was my QB too).

Bill Buckner!!! Nuff said! :yawn: The Red Sux don't look too dominating right now. The pitching staff is pretty shakey. The Yankees are rolling (and beating the Sux up) lately. Pitching looks great.... this should be another World Series title year for the Yankees! BTW... I'm glad 1 ALCS/World Series title means more to you than 26 World Championships! :hammer1: LOL

I was wondering how to take your post. Virginia deer are by no means as big a bodied deer as what's in Maine. I could be wrong but if he's 4 1/2 I would think he would have a little more of a sagging belly and be bigger bodied. Our deer here don't get that big so I don't know. I don't think he scores over 130" though. I have a 140" 8pt on the wall that's a fair amount bigger than that rack.

Good buck! I'd say he's around 130". I'd say he's a 3 1/2 in that picture.

Very nice bucks! I'd say the big one is in the mid 150's.

I actually submitted it to the contest Cuddeback has today. That's the coolest picture I've ever got!

Here's a couple more. This is the first time I've seen this 7pt this summer and then a couple fawns.

Pulled my cam from behind the house and had a pile of pics on it. A lot of daytime pics too. Here are a few. The one with "Mr. Ed" getting ready to stomp on "Sticker" is wild. Had some new bucks show up too. I hope they all stick around when the season starts!

Actually that buck in the last pic is a 8pt. He has short 3's. I'm pretty sure it's the same buck in the top pic. I think he's a young deer and may give him a free pass this year. The 6pt will get smoked if given the chance!!!

I checked my cam this afternoon after seeing some nice bucks cross the field behind my house the last couple days. These bucks are on the hit list. A couple younger bucks will get a free pass this year.
