Here's some pics I took from the races at Richmond this past weekend. Glad we didn't get rained out! We're part of the track crew during the race and after the Nationwide race we take a lap around the track and exit from pit road. We had to wait on a few cars before we could leave. After the Nationwide race I got to take a lap around the track and then back on pit road to get out of the infield. Here's a couple pictures from pit road from my truck. (I got a little loose coming off turn 4! )

I'll be at the track this weekend. Want the inside scoop on who's going to win??? When I drove around the track last week it seemed like it would favor David Stremme!!!

That was a wild wreck at the end and I'm glad everyone was ok. Brad did what he had to do at the end and did a good job. Congrats to him! Rusty Wallace drove a car without the plate at Dega just for fun a few years back and ran at over 240 mph. That is crazy. If they took the plates off those cars today they would run near 250. The fence would not hold that in my opionion (I install fences for a living) and fan and drivers would get killed at those speeds. Until they come up with something different... they have to keep the plates on those cars!

I can't say I'm a big fan of Indy Cars but I work all the races at RIR so I'll be there when they come to Richmond. I run the fence crew so I'll be in "pucker mode" the whole race hoping they don't decide to become airplanes!!!!

Enjoy it for now... I'm up to 7th and on a steady climb to the top!!!

It was awesome to see Mark Martin win again!!!

That's a sweet shot! The closest I came was on a 210 yard Par 3. I hit a 3 iron and played a slight draw (IT WORKED!!! ). The pin was behind a sand trap so I didn't see the ball land but I heard it hit the flag then I see it shooting off the green. When I got there there was a chunk of dirt taken out of the edge of the cup. I guess the ball hit the flag stick, then the side of the cup, and then shot off the green. Sucked too because I had to chip back on the green and make a putt for par. Closest I've ever been to an ACE and didn't even end up on the green!!!

I have unlimited roster moves in my other league. I picked him up as a free agent after the draft. I didn't exactly lose anything. He's been replaced!!!

I had him in another league. What a shame!!! I thought he was going to maybe have a good season.

I agree Craig... was hoping Perry was going to win it. Guess the pressure was just overwhelming to him. He should of hit 3W of the tee on 18 in my opinion.

I repeat... WINNING PICKS were made!!! :D:D I think using Phil on day 2 made the difference! My total was 158 points. (I had points previous because I've been doing this all season so far, so it looks like I had more than I did for this tournament.)

I've always been a Phil fan and also Greg Norman and Payne Stewart before him. I'm really starting to pull for Boo Weekly now. He's my kind of golfer. A camo hat and a can of dip on the golf course.... how can you not like this guy??!!! :D:D

After all the F-bombs he dropped on that cop when he got pulled over.... no wonder the Giants let him go. He is an IDIOT!!! He's going to ruin his life!!! I hope nobody picks him up so he's an example to other young players that this type of behavior will not be accepted!!!!

I'm glad to see them win but it cost me $200 in my brackets. I should have known better than to pick against them!

I fished with a buddy of mine and his father and brother inlaw yesterday at some private ponds we have permission to fish. We had a pretty good day. Didn't catch a lot of fish but did catch some quality fish. I caught 4 (2.7, 2.8, 4.0, 6.0) on a purple/blue 5/16 oz Stanley jig with a PB&J Super Chunk Jr. trailer. The fish seemed to want it swimming. I caught 2 (including the 6 lber) right at the bank as I was about to pick it up and make another cast. The first fish came out of the water chasing the jig and I flipped it back in and caught it. They wouldn't hit a chatterbait though. I lost one about 2 lbs on a spinnerbait and had another short strike. My buddy caught one 3.7 lbs. on a small Shad Rap crankbait. He also caught 2 small ones on it. Overall a pretty good day. We may go back again this week if the weather is decent.
