  1. When I switched from a whisker biscuit to my QAD drop away, I did this with the 4th arrow when sighting it in.
  2. Don't for get your CX Maximas or Piledrivers.
  3. Hi Boomer! RangerClay is checking in! Anyone have ideas for a team name?
  4. Yup! That's what I do. Try the NAP Gobbler Getter heads. They are the best turkey broadhead I've tried.
  5. There are a few really great videos of that young girl floating around Facebook. She was amazing.
  6. What makes me laugh is the fact that they are allowing Hollywood to come..make movies that promote gun violence btw...and spend their Hollywood money here. When in fact NYers generate one heck of lot more money with our tax dollars from gun sports than Hollywood will ever spend here.
  7. Erie & Wayne counties passed resolutions yesterday. So put 2 more on the list! That makes 25 counties passed so far! http://www.facebook.com/joseph.hulbert.9?ref=tn_tnmn#!/NYSafeResolutions
  8. I have a limited edition DU Mossberg 500. It may not be the most expensive gun in the world but if a turket gets less than 50 from me....he's toast.
  9. And there is your first customer for Rockland Rangers Outfitters
  10. Keep up the good work Lynn! Let me know when they vote and I will try to make it up there.
  11. I pretty much do the same thing. I have a climber then I use the mini hooks for my pack and quiver. I always keep the bow in my lap.
  12. I would also avoid white. I like black bows. They are good for treestands and ground blinds. Right now only one company offers it but my next bow will be dipped in Realtree Black.
  13. My first bow was a Mission. They are a sound well made bow. If I had to choose I would pick the Mission Riot over the Ballistic. Their specs are almost the same except the Riot is adjustable. So if you ever wanted to sell it and upgrade, the Riot would be much more marketable to a larger crowd than your one size Ballistic. My old Mission was not adjustable and it took me a while to find a buyer it fit. You could very easily hand this bow down to your kids for a starter bow. ps. Check out all of the cool colors that are available for the Riot.
  14. Good for you. Hope it tastes ok. Venison this time of year when they are not eating sweet grass can have an off flavor.
  15. Another work of art Ross. She's a bute!
  16. Very very cool! Sorry again for texting you by accident  I am excited for you and your new adventure in Texas. Looks like you will have a great place down there.
  17. Congrats!! That is a cool milestone. Hard to believe it will be 9 years for me this fall. It is cool to read all of your lobster stories and I am looking forward to coming up there and catch one or two eventually. Glad you have stuck around.
  18. I shoot a slight right helical from my QAD and I'm happy with it.
  19. Sound advise right there, especially that last sentence. Good luck with your search and let us know what you pick.
  20. Shouldn't this be in the Sports Room?
  21. Fries my bacon. :bang: But does not surprise me.
  22. None of my friends bowhunted so I was completely on my own. I did a lot of reading on Archerytalk.com but the biggest thing I did to help become a better archer was joining a league at my local shop. It forced me to practice and I had others shooters to ask questions from. Everyone was really friendly and it helped me develop good form.
