  1. I prefer bowhunting also, but i do look forward to shotgun season and spending time at deer camp with friends and family.
  2. Looks like a pretty sweet line up.Something for everybody.I'm hoping to replace my 04' Bowtech Liberty with something new next summer.
  3. Yep...KBB is where I found the value for my dirtbike when i sold it.
  4. We live in a great neighborhood where everybody has kids and keeps an eye on things. My daughter will be 5 in December and she is allowed to play in the back yard or on the front porch without one of us being outside.
  5. Congrats Marijane!Sounds like your covered up with the does!
  6. Well, the Blues should be decent this season. Were going to the game next Wednsday against the Leafs. They made a good move to get Chris Mason as Legace's back up in net,so that should help out a lot.On the downside Blues D-man Erik Johnson managed to run over his own leg with a golf cart(I have no idea:confused:) last week and looks like he's out for the season, so our D looks like it will be a little soft.
  7. Great pics Craig! Were just getting starting to get some change around here.
  8. I had my cam where the beans and clover come together and got plenty of pics of nice plump does, but no nice bucks. When I go back up i'm going to put it on the Hot Spot plot because it had a few sets of pretty good size tracks in it.
  9. The pre-season is here!Brought my daughter to Blues FanFest/scrimmage yesterday. Let's go boys! Puttin' the puck in the net.
  10. Got my stands hung and lanes trimmed Saturday so I'm ready to roll! The food plots still look good after some flooding.
  11. I was a little worried about my plots being flooded from Ike,but went up Saturday and evreything looks pretty good. Here is my Evolved winter Pz/Shot plot mix. Here is an overall look of the whole area.Soybeans in front,clover/chicory in the middle, and Winter Pz/shot plot mix in the far back. Up next is another small plot of Hot Spot/Shot Plot mix. This plot was under water for a day or two,but looks to be doing o.k. now. Come on October 1!
  12. Sweet!Congrats on the doe!Sounds like everything is working out pretty good.
  13. I usually try to work the ground up a few months before I plan on planting and add lime then.I also use both pelletized and crushed lime since they take different amounts of time to take effect.
  14. I do a lot of the stuff listed above. One thing I always carry is a small first aid kit. I go through a lot of band-aids.
  15. Looks like a shooter to me Cinch!I suppose it depends on what the size of the other bucks in the area are,but I would take him.
  16. The plots look great Chris! It looks like their coming along pretty good.
  17. Yep. I believe I saw new Marquis' on AT for around $550 or so a few days ago.
  18. Nice!Sharp looking rig.Congrats on the new ride!
  19. Man,that's tough.Prayers for his family.
  20. I hunt on about 100 acres, and have a 3/4 acre clover/chicory plot, and three plots that are about 1/4 acre that I put annuals in.
  21. Opening day is getting closer! I was wanting to get all my stands hung and lanes cleared over the weekend, but I spent Saturday fixing the power steering on my truck, and it rained most of the day Sunday.I have a feeling my food plots will need to be re-planted.Up where the farm is they've had over 6" of rain in the last 5 days,so I think my plots got flooded. I'm planning on going up to check things out this coming Saturday.
  22. Looks like that make for a pretty sweet spot!Should make for a great plot.
