Yep Joe have been hearing a lot here of peoples water lines freezing up.....I made sure to get up 2 times last night to flush the toilet and make the pump run......crazy cold here today and then 10cm of snow tomorrow.

Well it was a very big and very sad funeral service today....had tears in my eyes the whole time......it didn't help that I sat in the same seat I did almost to the year ago when my cousin passed away and when I saw Gerald's mass card it is his birthday tomorrow....give your loved one a extra hug tonight guys

I came home Sunday morning to the news that a friend of mine passed away in the night....he was a childhood friend....to this day we played old timers hockey together....he played this weekend and I could not make it because of work........he came home to his family feeling ok........later that night in bed he suffered a massive heart attack.....he never came back.....47 is WAY to young to go.....I can never afford to take my kids on a big trip down south some where.....but today I am getting on the phone and damm it I will be taking them somewhere.......life is to short my friends.....live it now.......RIP Gerald my old friend

less than a hour to go...no outside work but we did have a sprinkler head freeze and bust open in a stairwell.....that made a good mess

wow cold night here at work tonight....-21c feels like -35 with wind chill......hope I don't have to go outside much tonight

this has been going on for a while now.....told a guy where to go and what he could do...lol....the stupid $$##@$ called back 2 times.....In the end I told him what he could do with his goat....lol

LOL nope I was working....did not go last week.....It was -30c with the wind chill (we play on out door rink)

wish I could make it down again this year Tim but I have to much going on....I will have to try to meet up with Joe (Rangerclay) next year to make the trip.

Muff....BEER hockey league?..think that might be the prob.?...lol j/k lol....2 beer before helps loosen me up and a "few" after helps kill the pain.....lol.......got a text this morning that we lost last night because I was not there......I really doubt that....lol....cant wait till next Friday's game

our beer league hockey started last week......I played Friday night and could not move very well sat.....lol......showing my age....I turn 46 this month and being a goalie I should be in a lot better shape before stepping on the ice....oh well I had fun and we won.

Here in Canada we remember our fallen soldiers on Nov 11......When a soldiers body is brought home from war they land in Trenton Ont. and drive the soldier to Toronto for final examination....Ontario now calls that section of highway 401 The Highway of Heroes. When our Heroes take to the highway it is lined with people paying their respects to them.......this is a great song that a Canadian band done.

To all the Canadians out there hope you are havin a good Thanksgiving weekend....Me I am stuck working days this weekend so the family is going to get together next weekend.

Well could not get out this weekend with Mommy on a girls weekend away so at day break I took a drive around the block....seen over 40 deer moving would say 10 were small bucks 4 or 6 points......and a few REALLY small fawns. hope to get out later to swap out cards in the cam.

Well the season starts here tomorrow.....to bad I have to work days the next 2 days.....its really to warm here right now anyways......if I shot a meat deer I have no where to put it and would have to try to find a butcher to take it right away.....I would only be shooting a monster if it came out. I may go out on the weekend to see whats walking around.

~~Have any of you noticed a lot of acorns this year???? I have 2 very old tres by my house and have NEVER seen as many acrons as they have this year. The deer will be loving them.
